Abstract: A holding apparatus for turning an image frame or objective frame of a professional camera includes a first device which defines a vertical swivelling axis, and a second device with a worm gear whose worm wheel axle defines a horizontal swivelling axis in such a manner that it extends transversely to and in vicinity of the camera base.
Abstract: A device for checking the setting on a sports bow having a bow window and a spring-biased arrow guide button projecting from the bow window includes a measuring sleeve provided with a scale to measure the projection of the arrow guide button from the bow window when being in contact with the arrow guide button. For measuring the spring force acting on the arrow guide button, the sleeve accommodates a spring bolt which is provided with a marking. By screwing a setting nut and a counter nut on the sleeve, the spring bolt is forced against the arrow guide button until the marking appears in a viewing window of the sleeve. The spring force can then be read on another scale displayed on the sleeve.

Abstract: In pre-foamed particles of a propylene-base resin obtained by foaming raw particles of the propylene-base resin, the relation, G.sub.1 -G.sub.2 .gtoreq.10%, exists between the content G.sub.1 (%) of matter, which is contained in the pre-foamed particles and is insoluble in boiling n-heptane, and the content G.sub.2 (%) of matter contained in the raw particles and insoluble in boiling n-heptane. The pre-foamed particles have excellent moldability and can hence provide with ease low-density (highly-expanded) molded articles, which enjoy superb dimensional accuracy, good surface conditions, low percent water absorption, excellent impact and chemical resistance.

The binding cord (18) is fed from a cord tensioning device (20) and runs through the eyelet (12) and is wound with the section (2) that leaves the eyelet around the item (1) to be tied up and has its end held by one of the grippers (17) of the knotter (4). A driver (11) grips the cord section (2) entering the eyelet (12) and delivers it to one of the grippers (17) in the knotter (4). The driver (11) is attached to one end of a push rod (9) which is actuated by a main shaft (5) through a connecting rod (7a) and a rocking lever (9).
Abstract: A two stroke oscillating piston engine comprising cylinder sections provided with feed chambers for additional fresh air. The two outer rings, acting as pistons, draw in fresh air through intake ports and force that air to enter combustion chambers through communication ducts and ports. The middle ring is intended for the fresh gas supply of the combustion chambers. The radial grooves for fresh air are provided at a shorter distance from the ports than the radial grooves for fresh gas. Burnt and expanded gas is first exhausted from the combustion chambers by fresh gas; then the combustion chambers are filled with fresh gas and fresh air. Thus, exhausting unburnt gas together with burnt gas is avoided and improved combustion is provided in the combustion chambers.

Abstract: A rear wheel suspension for motorcycles which comprises a hydraulic damper of telescope type consisting of telescopic inner and outer tubes and a suspension coil spring positioned in these tubes. In order to stabilize the damping characteristics, and at the same time, to prevent the inner end cross section of the inner tube from fouling the suspension coil spring and thereby causing unsatisfactory operation, abnormal noise and other problems, one part of the suspension coil spring, which is located in the outer tube under the condition where the hydraulic damper is extended to the maximum, is made smaller in pitch diameter than the other part, which is located in the inner tube so that the inside working oil flow due to its expansion or compression may be hardly hindered by the part of the suspension coil spring that is located in the outer tube.
