Abstract: An anti-cancer bioactive peptide having an amino acid sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO.1, or a functional analogue thereof prepared by substitution, insertion, or deletion of one or more amino acids of SEQ ID NO. 1, or a peptide having 90% homology in amino acid sequence with that of SEQ ID NO. 1. The anti-cancer bioactive peptide of the invention can selectively kill cancer cells and exhibit low cytotoxicity against normal cells.
Abstract: A compound of formula (I), a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, or hydrate thereof, and a method of preparing the same. A method of treating or preventing a physiological disorder caused by abnormal protein tyrosine kinase activity in a mammal comprising administering to said mammal a pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of formula (I).
Abstract: Taught herein is a controller for a direct current brushless motor connected to a high voltage control system, comprising a microprocessor and an input/output interface circuit connected between the high voltage control system and the microprocessor; wherein the input/output interface circuit is a step-down circuit for transforming a high voltage control signal into a low-voltage control signal. The controller enables the high voltage control system to cooperate with motor, therefore a user is not necessary to design a new high voltage control system when replacing the conventional AC motor with the DC brushless motor, which saves time, and reduces cost.
Abstract: Taught herein are portable digital horizontal inclinometers which utilize magnetic field to dampen the free swing of the pendulum. The inclinometers feature simple structure, small size, high sensitivity, good linearity, high precision, and strong anti-jamming capability. They are also easy to manufacture and provide fast and accurate reading over a wide range of inclination angles of up to 360°.
Abstract: A method for scrolling MPEG-compressed pictures consists in decoding a sequence of pictures (34, 35, 36) or any two pictures to be viewed by a MPEG decoder (5) and storing the sequence of pictures (35, 35, 36) or any two pictures in MPEG decoder memory. Then the sequence of pictures (34, 35, 36) or any two pictures is formed as a group of pictures (37), which is transferred to the first screen buffer (24) which is active. In the following step, any another compressed picture, after decoding in the MPEG decoder (5), is stored in a MPEG decoder memory as a decoder new picture and then is transferred from the MPEG decoder memory to the first screen buffer (24), where its edge line perpendicular to the intended scrolling direction is adjoined to the external edge of the group of pictures (37).
