Abstract: A brake lever includes two separate sections which are connected to one another by an engaging screw to form an angle between two connected ends of the two sections.
Abstract: This invention relates to an assembly comprising a first corrugated sheet and a second generally planar sheet. The corrugations form alternating apices on opposite sides and equidistant from a central major plane in the first sheet, where the apices are connected by angled walls. The second sheet has a central major plane which is generally parallel to the central major plane of the first sheet. The second sheet has complementary regions disposed in overlapping adjacent complementary relation to, and abutting the apices of, the first sheet. The second sheet has undulating regions disposed between the complementary regions, where the undulating regions alternate above and below the central major plane of the second sheet.
Abstract: A microphone apparatus for a video camera having a zoom lens, comprising: a superdirectional microphone fro generating a superdirectional microphone signal D; a stereo microphone for generating stereo microphone signals L and R; a zoom position sensor for generating a zoom position signal; first and second signal means for generating control signals Vc1 and Vc2 which can be changed according to the zoom position signal; a first amplifier for generating a first amplified signal K1.multidot.D (K1 is a value corresponding to Vc1); a second amplifier for generating a second amplified signal K2.multidot.L (K2 is a value corresponding to Vc2); a third amplifier for generating a third amplified signal K2.multidot.R; a first adder for generating a first sum signal (k1.multidot.D+K2.multidot.L); and a second adding means for generating a second sum signal (k1.multidot.D+K2.multidot.R). The directivity can be varied in accordance with the control of the zoom lens to suitably match images and sounds.

Abstract: A process for the production of a laminate of thermoplastic material with a multi-layer wall by co-extrusion provides that added to the material for forming at least one of the layers of the laminate is a substance which makes it possible for that layer to be rendered recognizable in the laminate by the action of physical and/or chemical means. The added substance may be a fluorescing, phosphorescing or luminescing substance so that the layer containing that substance can be rendered visible in the wall of the laminate by the action of UV radiation of appropriate wavelength.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a duplex bag having a handle. The bag includes an inner and outer web of thermal plastic material. The outer web includes a front panel, a rear panel and a handle portion. The handle portion is integral with the front and rear panels and has a width less than the width of the front and rear panels. The inner web includes a top panel, a bottom panel and a gusset portion. The gusset portion is integral with the top and bottom panels and has a line of perforations spaced from and parallel to the top and bottom panels. All panels have about the same dimensions. The handle portion and the gusset portion are adjacent one another at a top end of the bag. The front panel overlies the top panel and the rear panel overlies the bottom panel. A side seam is formed at each lateral edge portion of said front, top, bottom, and rear panels and seals the panels together.
Abstract: A chain-type lock suitable for a door having a locking chain with a locking bar connected to one end thereof and a chain holding member with the other end of the chain fastened thereto. A receiver for securing the locking bar in a locked position is also provided together with threaded fasteners for mounting the receiver and the holding member. Preferably an anchor device is provided for each of the receiver and the holding member in order to hold securely the threaded fasteners in the door, door jamb or the like. Each anchor is adapted for insertion to an opening formed in the door, door jamb or the like.
