  • Patent number: 8345078
Abstract: An optical component bowing device includes a bending moment generating structure. In a particular embodiment, the bending moment generating structure can have extension members that extend in a direction substantially orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of an optical component. The extension members can be positioned adjacent longitudinal end portions of the optical component. The bending moment generating structure can also have loading members that load the extension members in a direction that is parallel to a longitudinal direction of the optical component, whereby displacement of the extension members can generate a bending moment in a supported portion of the optical component that reflects or shapes a light beam. The bending moment generating structure can also include a reflective surface. Extension members on at least one end of the optical component can be T-shaped when seen in plan view in a direction orthogonal to the reflective surface.

  • Patent number: 8023012
Abstract: An image capture device provided with a first memory unit, which memorizes position information of non-continuous defective pixels of a solid-state image capture component, and a second memory unit with a higher access rate than the first memory unit, which memorizes position information of continuous defective pixels. When a continuous photography mode or a video photography mode is set, defective pixel correction processing is carried out on image data corresponding to each of defective pixels according to the defective pixel position information stored at the second memory unit. Alternatively, when a still photography mode is set, image data corresponding to all defective pixels is corrected, based on both the defective pixel position information stored at the first memory unit and the defective pixel position information stored at the second memory unit. As a result, it is possible to correct defective pixels with high efficiency in accordance with conditions of photography.

  • Patent number: 7760252
Abstract: A shading compensation device which compensates for shading which differs for respective colors. A pixel counter counts co-ordinate positions of image data which is supplied from a black level correction section. A relative position calculation section compares the image data with compensation value tables and calculates relative co-ordinate positions of pixels which are objects of processing. A compensation value interpolation section refers to the compensation value tables, which are stored for the respective colors in a compensation value table memory, and interpolates shading compensation values for the relative co-ordinate positions calculated by the relative position calculation section. A multiplier multiplies the image data which is the objects of processing with the new shading compensation values obtained by the interpolation processing. Thus, shading-compensated image data is generated.

  • Patent number: 7734162
Abstract: Output of a gyro sensor is read at intervals of control time ts, time integration is carried out, an integrated value is computed, and an amount of change in an integrated value is determined from a difference between the calculated integrated value and an integrated value of a previous time. Thereafter, on the basis of the amount of change and a delay time determined by a shaking correcting module and the control time, an addition value (an acceleration value of an integrated value of the current time) is computed in order to obtain an amount of movement of a shift lens which can compensate tilting of an optical axis of a lens. After the computed addition value is added to the integrated value of the current time, a control value for moving the shift lens is computed by using the integrated value after addition.
