Abstract: A method for fabricating a microstructure is to form at least one insulation layer including a micro-electro-mechanical structure therein over an upper surface of a silicon substrate. The micro-electro-mechanical structure includes at least one microstructure and a metal sacrificial structure that are independent with each other. In the metal sacrificial structure are formed a plurality of metal layers and a plurality of metal via layers connected to the respective metal layers. A barrier layer is formed over an upper surface of the insulation layer, and an etching stop layer is subsequently formed over a lower surface of the silicon substrate. An etching operation is carried out from the lower surface of the silicon substrate to form a space corresponding to the micro-electro-mechanical structure, and then the metal sacrificial structure is etched, thus achieving a microstructure suspension.

Abstract: A method for producing fibers from molten waste includes melting waste in a melter into high-temperature molten fluid, discharging the high-temperature molten fluid from the melter, and fiberizing the high-temperature molten fluid to form solid fibers. The solid fibers possess excellent fire-resistant properties and thus can be used as fire-resistant materials.

Abstract: A paint ball gun includes a barrel, a handle with a trigger connected thereto and a tubular portion which is located beside the barrel. The tubular portion includes a chamber in which a strike pin and a valve are located. A rod movably extends through the valve and has a first end and a second end. The strike pin hits the first end of the rod by pulling the trigger and an activation member is connected to the second end of the rod. The second end of the activation member movably extends into a tubular member engaged with the chamber and biased by a spring. A stop member is movably engaged with the tubular member and in contact with the second end of the activation member. By adjusting the compressing of the spring by moving the stop member, the pressure that shoots the paint balls can be adjusted.

Abstract: An adjustable desk is disclosed, which has a desk board and two supporting legs; each supporting leg includes an upper frame, a lower frame, and fasteners. Both upper frames and lower frames have respective slots, which intersect to form dual intersections for allowing fasteners to penetrate between the intersections, to slide within the two slots, and to position the upper frame with the lower frame. Raising or tilting the desk board to the desired height and slope is achieved via tightening or loosening the fasteners; the supporting leg has an adjustable apparatus disposed thereon for users to hold onto.

Abstract: A portable water purification device includes a base, a fixed sleeve, a tube, a filtering unit, and a movable sleeve. The base includes a channel for providing filtered liquid. The fixed sleeve is fixed on the base and includes a first peripheral wall and a first axial hole. The tube on where the filtering unit is mounted is secured on the base and held in the first axial hole to define a penetrated hole communicating with the channel. The movable sleeve is mounted on an external surface of the fixed sleeve, and slid between a first position away from the base and a second position adjacent to the base. The movable sleeve includes a second peripheral wall and a second axial hole whereby the first axial hole communicates with the second axial hole to define a containing room when the movable sleeve is located on the first position.

Abstract: A roller skate includes a fixing seat, a plurality of wheels, and a safety device mounted on the wheel. The safety device includes a safety member mounted on the fixing seat and urged on the wheel, so as to adjust a rotation speed of the wheel. Thus, the roller skate can be fixed on the ground without rotation by the safety device, so that the learner can stand on the roller skate without movement so as to practice his/her balance. In addition, the safety member is slightly loosened from the wheels, so that the wheels are rotated at a lower speed, thereby facilitating the learner practicing the skating skill.

Abstract: A compound screwdriver head, which comprises a first working portion and a second working portion of the same size, the first, second working portion of the bigger size is used for screwing and unscrewing a bolt of bigger, smaller size respectively, so that different sizes of bolts can be locked and unloaded by one screwdriver. Thereby this invention is not only can save the structure of the bolt, but also can prolong the life of the bolt.

Abstract: A floatable hand tool includes a shank having an inner wall formed with an axially extending through hole, and a tool tip mounted on an end of the shank and having an end portion provided with a protruding connecting rod inserted into the through hole of the shank so that the through hole of the shank forms a closed chamber. Thus, the floatable hand tool floats on the water level by the floating force produced by the closed chamber the through hole of the shank. In addition, the floatable hand tool floats on the water level, thereby preventing the floatable hand tool from being missed when falling into the water, and thereby facilitating a user operating the floatable hand tool in the water.
