Abstract: A seat articulation mechanism including a seat pan member that travels along a pathway defined in a seat articulation linkage as the entire mechanism translates between an upright and sleeping configuration through a lounge configuration. The mechanism further includes main and secondary translation linkages, one of which is driven by a single actuator to drive the mechanism between the upright and sleeping configurations.
Abstract: An expandable support assembly for hanging a sign on a host structure subject to dimensional changes over time includes a pair of elongate arms pivotally attached together at a crossing point, a connector pivotally attaching the elongate arms together and permitting the arms to rotate relative to each other, four anchors, and a panel attached to the connector for supporting the sign. Each anchor engages a respective longitudinal portion of one of the arms such that the connector is positioned between two anchors with respect to each arm. The anchors are movable along the arms for securing the expandable support assembly to the host structure. The arms are adapted to permit movement of the anchors along the arms and the connector is adapted to permit relative rotation of the arms in response to dimensional changes over time of the host structure.
Abstract: An applicator for a liquid product includes an elongated base having a product cup sized for retaining a single-dose quantity of a liquid product; an applicator cup for receiving an applicator pad; and a channel interconnecting the product cup and the applicator cup. An absorbent applicator pad is disposed in the applicator cup. A liquid product is positively retained in the product cup until it is desired to apply the liquid product.
Abstract: A method of assembling a pump motor and preloading bearings of the motor including providing a housing, an end bell, first and second bearings each having a plurality of rolling elements disposed between an inner race and an outer race, a rotor assembly having a shaft, and a spring, securing the outer races to the housing and end bell, respectively, assembling the spring on the shaft, inserting the rotor assembly into the housing such that the spring bears against the inner race of the first bearing and the rotor assembly, attaching the end bell to the housing, and securing the inner race of each of the first and second bearings to the shaft.

Abstract: A trailer hitch guide including a guide having first and second halves interconnected through a cooperatively formed hinge having a releasable hinge pin, first and second neck surrounds cooperatively defining geometry for surrounding a tow-ball, a base including first and second arms, and a clamp cooperatively carried on the first and second arms for urging the first and second arms together around a hitch, wherein the first and second halves are connected to the first and second neck surrounds, respectively, and the first and second neck surrounds are pivotally connected to the base.
Abstract: A galley unit with a cart lift is provided for elevated storage of a food and beverage cart. The galley unit includes a mounting rack configured for mounting at least one first galley component thereon. The cart lift includes a platform for supporting a second galley component thereon. The platform is movable between a fully lowered, fully extended position and a fully raised, fully retracted position with the second galley component supported thereon. A support pillar is positioned to one side of the mounting rack and is operable to support and manipulate the platform in a fore-and-aft motion between a fully extended position and a fully retracted position, and in an up-and-down motion between a fully lowered position and a fully raised position. The support pillar may include an operator controlled passive lifting system for assisting manipulation of the platform.

Abstract: A device for assisting in opening and closing a zipper including a body having first and second diverging guide channels for receiving respective zipper tracks for sliding movement along the diverging guide channels and for progressively interconnecting the tracks at a predetermined mutually oriented angle of closure, a connector carried by the body for connecting the body to the zipper slider, and a pull for permitting manual pulling movement of the body.
Abstract: A modular block apparatus includes first and second blocks, each block having a generally upwardly protruding locking member and an internal recess sized to receive the locking member of the other block, such that the blocks can be assembled with one block above the other. The blocks are secured together in a vertical direction by relative lateral movement of the locking member and the internal recess. A locking device is provided to prevent relative lateral movement of the locking member and the internal recess so as to retain the blocks in a connected condition. The locking member may be an integral hook, a separate hook, or a cylindrical locking rod. If a hook is used, its orientation relative to the block may be varied. A variety of structures may be built up from the modular blocks.
