Abstract: A teaching method includes dividing an automatic traveling course (96) into a plurality of zones before teaching, conducting teaching for each zone of a plurality of zones at the time of teaching so as to generate position coordinate data for each zone as course data for each zone, and combining course data for respective zones and store the same after teaching. An apparatus includes a teaching zone designating function section (41) for designating a zone inside an automatic traveling course (96) divided into a plurality of zones, a position coordinate data function section (42) of an unmanned vehicle (3), zone-specific traveling course data memory means (43), a teaching course data writing function section (44) for writing the position coordinate, a teaching data edit instruction function section (45) for outputting an instruction after the completion of teaching route, and a total traveling course data edit function section (46) for combining and editing the traveling course data.
Abstract: A guide link for a back-drive silent chain includes a pair of flat outside surfaces and window holes. The flat outside surfaces are formed on the opposite sides of the center line of the apertures for contacting a chain guide or tensioner arm. The edge portions of the window holes in the vicinity of the apertures are formed of arcuate surfaces equally spaced apart from the edge portions of the apertures.
Abstract: A laser beam scanning optical system composed of a relatively small number of lenses achieves proper correction of lateral chromatic aberration and offers superior optical characteristics. In this scanning optical system, the scanning lens system is composed of lenses made of optical materials that are so combined as to make the entire lens system achromatic. Further, the scanning lens system receives converging, not parallel, laser beams, so that it only needs to have a relatively weak power.
Abstract: A device for damping rotational variation and torsional vibrations of the rotating shaft of an engine or a transmission having gears subjected to such vibrations, thereby reducing noise, includes a rotating shaft (2), supported by a bearing; a gear (3), attached to the rotating shaft; a damper against rotational variations and torsional vibrations of the gear; a damper case (11), having a ring-like inertia governor chamber (12), attached to the gear (3); an inertia governor (13), housed in the chamber; a plurality of leaf springs (14), inserted into a groove (11a) of the damper case (11) at one end and a groove (13a) of the inertia governor (13) at the other end in such a manner as to become parallel with an axis of the rotating shaft (2); and a plurality of pads (15), inserted between the inertia governor (13) and the damper case (11).
