Abstract: A magnetic knife guard that attaches to one side of a knife and enables a user to safely and easily store individual knives in a drawer or hang individual knives on kitchen utensil racks without damaging or dulling the cutting surface of the knife. An embedded magnet within the guard holds the guard to the blade while a plurality frictional contact pads prevent slipping or rotation of the guard on the blade.
