  • Patent number: 5611613
Abstract: A key operated door lock assembly comprising an operator assembly rotatable from a door open to a door closed position, including an operator, a plug in the operator having a key receiving opening, a support assembly for the operator assembly secured to the door including a light source operable for a predetermined period of time, and a first light pipe having a first end for receiving light from the light source and a second light transmitting end. Means for remotely operating said light source for a period of time selected so that a person can insert a key into the key receiving opening and rotate the operator assembly from the door closed position to the door open position. The operator assembly further includes a second light pipe having an exposed light transmitting portion and a light receiving portion, and means for supporting the second light pipe so that the light transmitting portion of the second light pipe is adjacent the key receiving opening.

  • Patent number: 5562751
Abstract: An I.S. machine system has a number of mechanisms which are driven by an inverter drive and a number of machine and section mechanisms which are driven by profiled motion actuators which are controlled by repetitive sequencers associated with each actuator. These repetitive sequencers are synchronized by taking the reference signal from a master clock which supplies the reference signal to the inverters and converts it to a once/cut sync signal for the machine mechanisms operated by profiled motion actuators and to a once/cycle sync signal for the section mechanisms and controllers.

  • Patent number: 5275638
Abstract: A parallel movement mould mechanism for use in a glassware forming machine comprises mould mounted for movement on horizontal shafts and means (90, 102) for moving the mould supports comprising a cage assembly in which a piston and cylinder device linked to the mould supports is mounted, the cage assembly being mounted for adjustable pivotal movement with respect to shafts so that adjustment of the position of the cage assembly adjusts the position of the centre line of moulds supported on the mould supports.

  • Patent number: 5155887
Abstract: In a clip for application to a longitudinal flange for mounting components such as trim strips having a component holding block (body) from which resilient fingers projecting away from an abutment protruding from the block are formed as upright arms which project from the block and are provided at their free ends with catching projections which, when they catch onto the longitudinal flange, press the upright arms round a bending zone extending in the transverse direction thereof away from the abutment.

  • Patent number: 4973210
Abstract: A non-expandible anchor for use in tensile zones of strong material having a compressive strength of at least 20 N/mm.sup.2 includes a cutting portion having a deep, coarse, raised, external helix formed with a cutting edge and having interruptions along the helix which act as chip breakers and permit removal of debris during insertion in a pre-prepared bore drilled in the strong material.

  • Patent number: 4898507
Abstract: Apparatus for handling electronic components comprises a pick-up head 16 including a housing 74 and a tool comprising a elongated support member 80 (providing pick-up mechanism 84,98) mounted in the housing 74 for rotation about an axis D of the head 16 and for axial movement. A sleeve 122 and member 124 are rotatable with the tool but axially movable relative to the member 80. Clutch mechanism comprises a clutch pad 130 between a surface 132 of the housing 74 and a surface 128 of the member 124 and a spring 134 urging the surfaces 128, 132 and pad 130 together, locking the tool against rotation. Axial pressure on the sleeve 122 disengages the clutch permitting rotation of the tool which is effected through the sleeve 122. Several heads 16 mounted on a carousel 14 for movement from a pick-up station 26 through orientation stations 42, 48, to a placement station 50.
