Patent number: 4475587Abstract: In a heat exchanger having tubes arranged in latticed pattern in a frame and serving to conduct a medium for heat exchange and enclosed in a housing wherein the space defined by the housing and the frame is divided into a collector and a distribution chambers, each chamber being subdivided with a partition wall defining a further chamber, namely a collector and a distribution chambers respectively. These chambers intercommunicate through corresponding tubes to form separate flow paths for the medium for heat exchange. The heating or cooling medium is flowing through the exchanger transversely to the longitudinal direction of the tubes.Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 1981Date of Patent: October 9, 1984Assignee: Belgorodsky Zavod Energeticheskogo MashinostroeniaInventors: Boris P. Patent number: 4440224Abstract: For mining combustible minerals a plurality of boreholes are drilled in a gasifiable seam, e.g., in a coal bed, said boreholes 1 through 4 being intercommunicated by a number of gasification ducts. Then the combustible mineral is initiated to fire, and an oxygen-containing blast gas is blown through some of said boreholes into the gasification ducts, with the result that the generator gas is formed. Simultaneously a carbon- and/or hydrogen-containing blast gas is blown through other boreholes situated along the flow of the generator gas to enrich the latter with combustible ingredients. As a result some chemical reactions proceed under the effect of heat produced by the generator gas, whereby additional amounts of combustible elements are formed which add to the calorific value of the generator gas being withdrawn. The method is instrumental also in controlling the composition of the generator gas withdrawn by varying the ratio of the components of the blast gas enriching the generator gas.Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 1979Date of Patent: April 3, 1984Assignee: Vesojuzny Nauchno-Issledovatelsky Institut Ispolzovania Gaza V Narodnom Khozyaistve I Podzemnogo Khranenia Nefti, Nefteproduktov I Szhizhennykh Gazov (Vniipromgaz)Inventors: Efim V. Patent number: 4328796Abstract: Respiration pacemaking valve apparatus adapted for use with apparatus for resuscitation such, for example, as a respirator, including a body member or housing defining a fluid flow passage, an inlet through which air or oxygen can be conducted into the fluid flow passage and wherein the body member is attached directly to a drug atomizer in a manner such that air or oxygen can be further conducted to the regulating valve assembly of a respirator or an outgoing connecting branch of other resuscitation apparatus. A spindle is disposed within the fluid flow passage of the body member which is provided with an elastic portion for opening and closing the fluid flow passage thereof in response to actuation of a trigger member pivotally mounted on the body member.Type: GrantFiled: January 3, 1980Date of Patent: May 11, 1982Inventor: Taisto Hakkinen

Patent number: 4306934Abstract: The wet end of a fourdrinier paper machine includes a transversely disposed roll beneath the wire. The roll is shaped and mounted for rotation at a speed which is different from the speed of the wire to create pulses of negative pressure beneath the wire for drawing liquid from the web of fibers formed thereon. Also disclosed is a fin apparatus transversely disposed beneath the wire to create a wave of positive pressure thereunder to urge the formed web off of the wire.Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 1980Date of Patent: December 22, 1981Inventor: Erkki O.
