Abstract: An oral-product container is disclosed that includes: a) a plurality of breath fresheners contained therein for breath freshening purposes; and b) a mirror for visage freshening purposes.
Abstract: An electronic book on a computer readable medium, e.g., a CD or the like, has “real-life” pre-recorded audio (preferably, in MP3 format) and visual text (preferably, in RTF format) seamlessly linked together via a linking file (preferably, in XML format) such that a reader can switch back and forth “at will” between visually reading on a computer display screen and/or listening to the book being read aloud by an actual narrator. The computer readable medium includes a reader program installed thereon and an automatic installation program. A novel process for creating the electronic book includes a creator program that may have a similar graphical user interface to the reader program. The electronic book may combine advantages of physical hard-cover books with new e-reading functionality developed by the present inventor.
Abstract: A disk adapter A is equipped with first and second adapter halves 1 and 2 to be detachably disposed in a disk-placing dented portion 54 provided in a disk tray 53 of a label printer 51. One of the adapter halves 1 and 2 is movable relative to the other thereof in accordance with a movement of a disk pushing member 55 provided in the disk tray 53. When the disk tray 53 is inserted into a printer main body 52, the aforementioned one of the adapter halves is moved in a direction that the one of the adapter halves approaches the other thereof by the disk pushing member 55, whereby the optical disk D is held by and between both the adapter halves 1 and 2.
Abstract: An optical disk includes a disk substrate made of synthetic resins and an elastic/non-elastic film for label printing. The disk substrate has a chucking central aperture, and the peripheral portion of the chucking central portion constitutes a clamping area. The film is fixed on an upper surface of the disk substrate so as to cover the chucking central aperture. In case of the elastic film, at least a portion of the film corresponding to the chucking central aperture expands/contracts in accordance with the movement of a disk chuck into/out of the chucking central aperture. On the other hand, in case of the non-elastic film, cuts are made in a portion corresponding to the chucking central aperture, whereby the cut portion of the film opens/closes in accordance with the movement of a disk chuck into/out of the chucking central aperture.
Abstract: A recumbent or the like cycle includes an improved seat structure that can be used to facilitate angular positioning of the seat and/or handling of the cycle for transport and/or storage. The seat includes a mounting structure enabling fore-and-aft adjustment along the cycle as well as angular adjustment of the seat. The seat also preferably includes a material having reflective properties incorporated directly into the material of the seat, e.g., such as the fabric of the seat.
Abstract: The preferred embodiments relate to a system for replenishing water (e.g., due to evaporation, leakage, etc.) in a body of water (e.g., a pool, pond, etc.) via a discharge unit displaced from the body of water. The discharge unit is preferably laterally displaced. Preferably, a timer mechanism is provided to adjust the amount of water discharged into the body of water. In preferred embodiments, the discharge unit is configured in the shape of a natural object, such as a animal native to the locality (e.g., frog, turtle, rabbit, etc.), a non-native animal (e.g., a dolphin, whale, seal, bear, etc.), a natural or unnatural object or the like.
Abstract: A device for processing a substrate comprises a processing vessel (1), an outer vessel (2) for surrounding the processing vessel (1) which outer vessel (2) can be sealed, a first supporting member (4) for bringing the substrate (3) into and out from the processing vessel (1) which first supporting member (4) supports the substrate (3) in a standing manner, and a second supporting member (5) for transferring the substrate (3) between the first supporting member (4) which second supporting member (5) is movable up and down within the processing vessel (1). The device processes the entire surface of the substrate (3) uniformly and prevents varying in processing from occurrence.

Abstract: A straw with a mouthpiece includes a straw main body having openings at both ends thereof and a mouthpiece integrally connected with a tip portion of the straw main body. The tip portion of the straw main body is provided with at least one engaging aperture penetrating a peripheral wall constituting the straw main body, and the mouthpiece is provided with at least one engaging protrusion inwardly protruded from an inner peripheral surface thereof. The engaging protrusion is engaged with the engaging aperture, whereby the mouthpiece is integrally connected with the straw main body so as not to be detached therefrom.
Abstract: A shelf-front assembly has a first extruded plastic strip containing a label holder (e.g., a channel) and a second extruded plastic strip containing a vertical retaining wall. The first strip preferably has 1) a generally horizontal portion for placement on a shelf surface and 2) a label holder at a front end of the generally horizontal portion. The second strip preferably has 1) a generally horizontal floor and 2) an upward wall extending up from the generally horizontal floor.
