Abstract: A chute for directing materials from a source conveyor to a plurality of discharge conveyors, the chute comprising an upper chute section having a central vertical axis; a chute body movable between a raised position and a lowered position and rotationally connected below the upper chute section by rotation means for rotating the chute body about the central vertical axis between at least two selected rotational positions; and a plurality of lower chute sections, each lower chute section reversibly connectable at an upper end to a lower end of the chute body at one of the selected rotational positions, and at a lower end to a conveyor.

Abstract: An assembly and method for downhole equipment deployment comprising a liner hanger attachable to deployable equipment, a top sub insertable into the liner hanger and attachable to a tubing string, a lock piston releasably connectable to the top sub, and lock pins insertable through the top sub, the liner hanger, and the lock piston, the liner hanger and associated equipment remotely releasable from the top sub and the lock piston.

Abstract: A cover for open top railcars may be alternatively locked into place over the railcar top opening, or rotated on hinges to either side of the railcar to provide access to the entire top of the railcar. The cover may be compressed against either side of the railcar to allow the car to move between structural or other elements of loading or unloading facilities.

Abstract: An electron emitter for a display provides an electron source, an electron accelerator, an electron collector disposed between the electron source and the electron accelerator, and one or more electron deflectors to selectively deflect electrons in an electron beam or electron plane towards the electron collector phosphorous coating on a display screen, within a non-metallic vacuum chamber having an adjustable vacuum. Pinhead electrode electron deflectors may each control one color of a pixel, and each set of three adjacent pinhead electrodes may comprise a complete pixel on the display screen.

Abstract: An electron emitter provides a photocell having at least one photosensitive side, an electron accelerator, an electron collector disposed between the photosensitive side of the photocell and the electron accelerator, a non-metallic vacuum chamber having an adjustable vacuum containing the photocell, the electron accelerator and the electron collector; and a light source to excite electrons on the photosensitive side of the photocell. Upon light activation, infrared light strikes the photocell, causing electrons to be excited and released. The highly positively charged electron accelerator will attract the electrons under sufficient vacuum conditions. Some of the electrons travelling towards the electron accelerator will encounter the electron collector and be collected thereon. The device may be used as a rectifier or regulator to replace vacuum tubes such as for audio amplifiers and high voltage devices. It may also have application as an x-ray generator, an electron microscope or a display screen.

Abstract: A device for aligning with a king pin on a trailer comprising: a first bar having a first coupler at one end thereof; a bar having a second coupler at one end thereof; first and second couplers adapted for attachment to said king pin; each bar having a projection therefrom for aligning said rods on said trailer when said couplers are attached to said king pin.
