Abstract: A method of producing breathable, conformable, elastic, pressure-sensitive, permanently tacky, adhesive bandaging material from a fabric which has been formed by interweaving essentially non-stretch filling yarns with stretch and non-stretch warp yarns, said method comprising conveying a continuous web of said fabric in a substantially relaxed condition, applying steam to the relaxed fabric, and applying an adhesive layer to the back side of the relaxed fabric.

Abstract: A motion picture screen assembly having a horizontal support beam and having a motion picture viewing screen which is detachably fastened at its upper edge to the support beam. Preferably two lifting rams are located near the ends of the support beam. The lifting rams operate to raise the support beam so that the attached viewing screen assumes a vertical viewing position. The assembly can be put up and taken down both outdoors and indoors, and is completely portable.
Abstract: A lightweight, flexible, resilient sole adapted for athletic footwear including a relatively soft midsole made of a synthetic such as ethylene vinyl acetate, the midsole being wedge-shaped and including a relatively thick heel section and a relatively thin and flexible forepart section, and a plurality of discontinuous independent outsole pieces made of a relatively hard and wear-resistant synthetic rubber, such as styrene-butadiene rubber, the outsole pieces being disposed across the forepart section of the midsole with open spaces between the outsole pieces to maintain the flexibility of the forepart section, with the outsole pieces being vulcanized to the lower surface of the midsole to form a composite sole.
Abstract: A dictating apparatus for a remotely controlled central record/playback system, the dictating apparatus being connected to the record/playback system via a telephone network. The dictating apparatus has a handset with a plurality of motion control and function buttons which, when depressed, cause transmission of selected tone bursts for controlling the operation of the record/plyback system. The buttons are positioned on the handset to permit a one-hand dictating operation.
Abstract: A coaxial cable connector having a body assembly and a cap assembly which are adapted to be secured together. The body assembly has a front body with a front body cavity formed therein, an electrically conductive collet affixed at least partially within the front body cavity, an axially moveable electrically insulative seizure bushing fitted within the front body cavity, an axially moveable mandrel fitted within the front body cavity and extending beyond said front body, and a spring fitted within the front body cavity for urging the seizure bushing towards an open position. The cap assembly has a cap body with a substantially open passage therethrough, and an outer conductor clamp fitted within the passage. The front body also has a bevelled surface proximate the open end of the front body cavity for engaging and constricting the outer conductor clamp upon joining of the body assembly to the cap assembly.
