Abstract: An apparatus and method for transferring a signal from a first bus circuit to a second bus circuit. The apparatus and method includes a first constant current circuit connected to the first bus circuit, a first capacitor connected between the first bus circuit and the first constant current circuit, a second constant current circuit connected to the second bus circuit, a second capacitor connected between the second bus circuit and the second constant current circuit, and an opto-coupler connected between the first and second constant current circuits and providing signal transfer control from the first capacitor to the second capacitor.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for tracking the location of an object near a machine at a site. The method and apparatus includes determining a position of the machine, determining a position of the object, transmitting the determined position of the object from the object to the machine, and displaying the position of the object relative to the position of the machine to an operator of the machine.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for pumping oil in a machine. The apparatus and method includes a first gear drivably connected to the machine, a second gear connected to the machine such that a set of teeth located on the first gear engage a set of teeth located on the second gear, an oil inlet port located near the teeth of the first gear slightly before a point of engagement of the teeth of the first and second gears, and an oil outlet port located at the point of engagement of the teeth of the first and second gears.

Abstract: A mobile machine for determining information at a forestry site. The mobile machine includes a gimbal base mounted on the mobile machine, a rotating laser beam range detector mounted on the gimbal base so that the rotating laser beam maintains a horizontal plane, a position determining system mounted on the mobile machine, and a slope determining system located on the mobile machine and electrically connected to a set of gimbals on the gimbal base, the gimbals being adapted to sense a slope of the mobile machine.
