Abstract: A hand-held system for determining the slope of an element having an irregular surface, such as a shingled roof, or along a surface that is partially obscured by adjacent elements. The system comprises an inclinometer having a double indicator to provide two simultaneous readings of slope.
Abstract: A container system for organizing items that makes use of wasted space in or around cabinets, for use in organizing items such as spices or items used in construction and repair. The system comprises a substantially linear holder with apertures, containers that fit into the apertures, and caps that close the containers and stop the containers from going all the way through the apertures. The holder provides removable access of containers. The containers may be labeled for easy identification and organization. The holder may have a cover with hinges and a latch. The system may be sold as a kit. The kit may be designed to match the cabinet it will be installed on. The apparatus, kit, and methods of installation and use are disclosed.
Abstract: A disc repair system which is provided for the purpose of consumer-repairing of scratches on optically-read discs (e.g., digitally recorded discs, known commonly, as “CD” discs or “DVD” discs, etc., containing audio or video or other formats of data information), such that an optical reader, which uses a laser to read digital information stored on a compact disc, can read the digital information without the optical distortion caused by a scratch. The system utilizes diamond grit as an abrading compound to recondition the disc surface.

Abstract: A tool drive system for transferring rotational power from a rotational tool, such as a drill or ratchet, to at least one input drive shaft which then transfers the power to at least one output drive shaft. The angle of at least one input drive shaft being adjustable relative to at least one output shaft. The tool drive system comprises a round housing with an angle adjuster attached to the input shaft that assists in adjusting and locking the angle of the input shaft relative to the output shaft in an almost circular span. The input and output shafts may be positioned in a user-selected gear ratio from the input to output shafts or vice versa.
Abstract: A backflow prevention system that helps prevent contamination of potable water distribution systems from backflow at fire hydrant connections.
Abstract: A computer system for providing load balancing and scalable access to a network database system by providing multiple database instances with each instance being substantially identical in data content, database structure, and primary key system. Requests from users are received by the system, examined to determine their nature as transactional or non-transactional and, in the case of non-transactional queries, scattered among the multiple database instances. Such scattering of queries permits multiple instances of the database to be serving responses to multiple users at substantially the same time. In the case of transactional queries, the system automatically propagates the transactional query to all instances of the database to maintain homogeneity.
Abstract: A golf cart shading system shading of the occupants of a golf cart without limiting access to the rear golf cart storage area from the rear of the golf cart. Additionally, it provides a golf cart shade that is fitted to the golf cart, portable, easily installed and removed, and attachable to a wide range of golf cart designs. Even further, the shade has optional viewing windows with shade screening.
Abstract: A sleep support system for comfortably supporting a user during sleep. More particularly, a sleep support system for face-down sleep in essentially a sitting position. The system is adapted for use with equipment and fixtures commonly found in patient recovery rooms, such as hospital beds and over-bed tables. The system provides comfortable head and arm support with a plurality of user-selectable positional adjustments. The system is foldable and portable. The system may be adapted for use with a wheelchair.
