Abstract: The financial decision system provides for real-time calculation of buying pressure and selling pressure for any tradable instrument market. Additionally, it provides real-time visual simultaneous plots and charts of buying pressure and selling pressure. Further, the system automatically presents buy and sell indicators and expert commentary based on automatically detected market trend changes. The system automatically analyzes market trends and changes in multiple timeframes simultaneously to identify, in real time, multiple confirmations of suggested trading actions, such as buying or selling. The system also encompasses training materials and methods necessary for teaching concepts and methods of usage to improve the likelihood of success for new users.
Abstract: A towable apparatus adapted for the separation of rock, stones, or debris from topsoil, having a stationary, non-vibrating sifting screen. A hydraulically powered conveyor belt with paddles pushes the soil across the sifting screen. The system provides features to assist prevention of machine jamming by large debris. A method of use is also disclosed.
Abstract: A retaining wall for supporting and stabilizing cut or fill areas of excavation and a method of constructing a retaining wall. The wall is preferably constructed by applying the concrete pneumatically. The method comprises installing a backing board while the vertical wall is pneumatically constructed. The backing board may be selectively removed after application of concrete. The footing and vertical wall can be constructed monolithically utilizing this method. This method of construction yields a high strength wall with very few construction steps and uses materials efficiently. The flexibility in the design and advantages regarding accessibility, along with needing fewer workers for construction, are also a large benefit.
Abstract: Medical component systems are described in which individual hand-held components are enhanced by adjacent restraint and by combinations of function, including: suction devices with a port for regulating suction with single-finger-operable valve for repeatable incremental user control of suction-vacuum variation by aperture shapes like triangles and slots and tactile feedback means like plane changes for amplifying tactile feedback to a user to enhance distinguishing of control increments; clips and tubing restraints for attachment between devices; endotracheal tubes with feedback features so a user knows where the distal end is; wound kits and splash shields for use in combination with various irrigation sources; combination cough shields with medical components; endotracheal tube adapters with less dead space and improved flanges and monitoring ports; and improved long syringes and medical lights.
Abstract: A security cover is disclosed for protecting installed avionics instruments and other electronic instruments. The cover includes multiple independent automatic locks that activate when the cover is abutted near the installed instruments. An automatic lock mechanism, adapted to electronic instrument covers, is also disclosed. The activated locks are not directly accessible to users and thieves. A lock release mechanism is disclosed for simultaneously unlocking each lock. A method of manufacturing using extruded aluminum panels is disclosed.

Abstract: Dual display screens are oriented back-to-back such that one display screen is visible from a first direction and one display screen is visible from a direction opposite the first direction.
Abstract: A custom articulated ankle-foot orthosis (AFO) system is disclosed that is formed on a cast of the wearer's foot. It has an adjustably tightenable calf section hingedly connected to an adjustably tightenable foot section. It is made of thermally formable plastic sheet, is lined inside and outside, and is padded inside. The brace permits dorsal/plantar flexion while supporting the ankle against supination and pronation. The apparatus and methods of manufacture are disclosed.
Abstract: A combined motor-battery system comprising an electric power source adapted to convert self-originating electrical current to mechanical power utilizing a set of common functional structures. Preferred embodiments include an electrochemical cell comprising field reactive electrodes that directly produce extractable mechanical forces in the presence of a magnetic field.
Abstract: A diaper changing mat comprising an attached, flexible and infant-drapeable, fold-over urine shield structured and arranged to prevent urine exposure from infant-generated urine while still providing easy access to the infant's diaper area. The diaper changing mat is preferably disposable. A preferred heart-shaped urine shield blocks urine streams without hindering access to the infant's diaper area. Alternately preferably, the diaper changing mat may be reusable and washable or preferably comprise a removable waterproof insert. The diaper changing mat may also attach to a changing-table element, such as, for example, a foam pad.
Abstract: The present invention provides improved pedorthic systems for patients having partial foot amputations or foot neuropathies. Custom-molded, custom-made pedorthics with leather linings and molded stiffeners are disclosed, along with methods of manufacture. Custom-molded, custom-made pedorthics and ankle-foot orthoses having solid, molded fillers to replace the volume of missing foot portions are also provided, along with methods of manufacture.
Abstract: A retail display system for increasing density of merchandising of products, by using the otherwise unused space of existing display configurations. A hanger display configuration, which may hold vertical strip displays, is installed in such a manner as to adapt to a diverse range of product packaging and shelving fixture types, efficiently provide signage, pricing and scanning information, and to reduce theft. The hanger display configuration can be manufactured for a specific product and specific quantity of such product. Faceplates have clamps on the rear face for clamping the faceplates to seldom-used non-shelve portions of the rack display and other store fixtures, such as bars, stanchions, corners, etc.
Abstract: A system which is primarily of use for lawyers, judges and electronic court reporters operates to correlate personal log notes with digitally recorded audio proceedings, such as courtroom proceedings. The notes may be made in conjunction with the computer actually recording the courtroom proceedings; or they may be made on personal computers separate from the computer recording the court proceedings. Identification of the proceedings is made on both the digitally recorded proceedings, as well as on the log notes; so that they are correlated. Each time a note is entered, the time at which the note is entered is placed as a time stamp in conjunction with the note.
