    Abstract: A system and method for implementing a sound processor. The sound processor includes a first voice engine, a second voice engine, and at least one single-port memory unit. An operation of the first voice engine and an operation of the second voice engine are time offset, wherein the time offset enables the first and second voice engines to share the at least one memory unit without contention. This results in cost savings and power consumption savings due to the smaller area needed for the memories.

    Abstract: An improved method for interconnect delay analysis for VLSI circuits reduces a parasitic graph for moment computation by eliminating one or more nodes in the graph. The elimination process is performed based upon the degree of the nodes. By eliminating nodes in this fashion, the computation complexity is significantly reduced. With this elimination process, resistor loops and crossed loops can also be solved. The order in which the nodes are eliminated is optimized using the depth-first-search method on the parasitic graphs, further reducing the computation complexity. The method provides a consistent functional interface, applicable to different circuit model structures. In addition, the method accounts for coupling capacitance between interconnects.

The magnetic element may also include a barrier layer, a second pinned layer. The high perpendicular anisotropy has a perpendicular anisotropy energy that is at least twenty and less than one hundred percent of the out-of-plane demagnetization energy.

The method and system include providing a magnetic biasing structure having a first pinned layer, a second pinned layer, a spacer layer, and a free layer. The spacer layer is nonferromagnetic, resides between the second pinned layer and the free layer, and is configured such that the free layer is substantially free of exchange coupling with the second pinned layer. The free layer has a shape anisotropy with a longitudinal direction substantially in the second direction. The magnetic biasing structure provides a bias field for the free layer along the hard or easy axis. In one aspect, the second pinned layer resides between the first pinned layer and the free layer.

Another aspect includes providing a silicon on oxide transistor as the selection device. Another aspect includes providing to the body of the transistor a body bias voltage that is a first voltage when the transistor is off and a second voltage when the transistor is on.

    Abstract: The present invention increases the difficulty of reverse engineering sensitive information protected by an encryption algorithm by increasing the difficulty associated with tracing the code that generates the key or the encryption algorithm. This is accomplished by generating the key, used to encrypt and decrypt the sensitive information, as a function of the program instruction values of the procedures used to generate the key and perform the decryption of the sensitive information. Thus, if the key generation code or the decryption code is modified (such as (but without limitation) by placement of a breakpoint, a trace function, or a halt instruction in the code) the resulting key will be different from the key used to encrypt the sensitive information and the decryption attempt will fail.

For each feature in the target design, x, y points comprising the feature are traversed and each neighboring pair of points is connected to define respective segments, wherein a set of contiguous segments form a step if the x values of the segments/points all increase or decrease and the same is true for the y values. Physical characteristics of the segments of the respective features are determined by comparing lengths of the segments to one another and to threshold values. Locations of quality measuring points are then determined along particular ones of the segments based on the physical characteristics.

According to the method and system disclosed herein, approximating values using Chebyshev polynomials results in high-resolution aerial images that are generated at faster speeds.
