Patent number: 6824603Abstract: A composition of matter comprising a mixture of an oxide powder or powders and a Reactive Organic Medium (ROM) which can be used to create electronic components on a suitable. The materials are applied to conventional polymer-based circuit substrates by any convenient printing process and thermally cured to well-consolidated oxide components at a temperature, which the substrate can withstand. Mixtures for various components, including resistors, capacitor dielectrics and magnetic cores and processes to apply them are disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: October 18, 2002Date of Patent: November 30, 2004Assignee: Parelec, Inc.Inventor: Paul H. Kydd

Patent number: 6815130Abstract: A method and apparatus for the electrostatic printing of dry or wet toners using a novel tiered printing plate allows for superior and efficient transfer of toner from the plate to the printed item. The process for producing the printing plate uses photo polymer film resist with a positive photo tool which after developing yields trenches between ridges of hardened photo polymer which hold the toner in desired pattern.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2002Date of Patent: November 9, 2004Assignee: Electrox CorporationInventors: Dietmar C. Eberlein, Robert H. Detig

Patent number: 6781612Abstract: The invention describes techniques for the electrostatic printing of functional materials configured as liquid toners (45) on glass substrates (26) in a non-contact mode. The toners are patterned by a sensitized electrostatic printing plate (11) of fixed image configuration. Toner images (50) are transferred by an electric field (33) across a fluid filled mechanical gap (42) to the glass substrate (26). Techniques for optimizing the imaging and transfer processes are also disclosed. Two other techniques in which partially finished pieces are manipulated to “self-part” themselves, are described. In both cases defects in the pieces will over print the defect in the “self-healing” mode.Type: GrantFiled: February 28, 2001Date of Patent: August 24, 2004Assignee: Electrox CorporationInventor: Robert H. Patent number: 6743319Abstract: An electronic circuit is made by printing a Parmod® composition on a temporary substrate and curing it to produce a pattern of metal conductors. The conductors are laminated to a substrate under heat and pressure to produce a laminate with the metal prepatterned into the desired circuit configuration. The conductor can also be coated with a polymer and cured to form a prepatterned substrate. Single and double-sided circuits or multilayers can be made this way.Type: GrantFiled: October 4, 2002Date of Patent: June 1, 2004Assignee: Paralec Inc.Inventor: Paul H. Kydd

Patent number: 6689004Abstract: A continuously-variable-ratio transmission belt includes a beltlike continuity element having a body made of elastomeric material and in turn having inner teeth and outer teeth and a number of threadlike longitudinal inserts embedded inside the body; and a number of separate friction blocks which are made of plastic material, are co-molded onto the continuity element so as to each incorporate one tooth of the inner teeth and one tooth of the outer teeth, and are each defined by two lateral surfaces converging inwards of the belt and cooperating with respective sides of a groove of a trapezoidal-grooved pulley.Type: GrantFiled: December 8, 2000Date of Patent: February 10, 2004Assignee: Dayco Europe S.r.l.Inventors: Sergio Lolli, Luigi Celio

Patent number: 6656073Abstract: A toothed belt wherein the toothed portion is covered with a cover cloth consisting of a weft and a warp. The weft consists of weft yarns defined by an elastic core yarn and by at least one composite yarn wound about the elastic yarn; and each composite yarn comprises a high thermal and mechanical resistance yarn and at least one covering yarn wound about the high thermal and mechanical resistance yarn. To improve adhesion of the cloth to the elastomeric material of the belt body and teeth, to improve abrasion resistance and to extend the average working life of the belt, according to the present invention, the cloth is treated with an adhesive composition comprising resorcinol, formaldehyde, a highly saturated and carboxyl groups containing nitrile and conjugated diene copolymer latex, and epoxy resins.Type: GrantFiled: November 24, 2000Date of Patent: December 2, 2003Assignee: Dayco Europe S.r.l.Inventors: Marco Di Meco, Arturo Carrano

Patent number: 6589513Abstract: A formulation which promotes gum and oral health through the presence of natural components exhibiting astringent, antiseptic and local stimulant effects. The formulation can be in the form of a concentrate, an oral rinse, gel, ointment, and other topical forms. The formulation also promotes healing of sores and wounds as well as preventing toothdecay. The use of cayenne as a preferred component has a synergistic effect on other components effects.Type: GrantFiled: September 20, 2001Date of Patent: July 8, 2003Assignee: Lesko-Care, L.L.C.Inventors: Joseph Lesky, James Lesky, Teresa Lesky

Patent number: 6520105Abstract: This invention concerns a remote control unmanned fishing boat intended for enjoyment of remote control fishing and a remote control device for use with the boat. The invention contemplates enabling the operator to advance the boat forward and backward and change the direction of the advance of the boat by manipulating the remote control device 2. By the operator using the remote control device 2 for actuating a depth sounder, the information concerning the depth of water and the condition of water bottom determined by the depth sounder is displayed on a monitor 41 of the remote control device 2. When the optimum position for fishing is found consequently, the operator is allowed to lower his fishhook in the water by manipulating the remote control device 2.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 2001Date of Patent: February 18, 2003Assignee: Coden Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yoshiharu Koda, Kojiro Koda

Patent number: 6494243Abstract: A self-inflatable mattress is formed from an open pore foam core and one or more layers of dual melt film. Initially, a layer of dual melt film is placed on top of the open pore foam block such that the side with the lower melting temperature contacts the foam core. A non-stick, heat transferable buffer layer is then placed on top of the film and heat and pressure are applied, preferably through a roller, causing the bottom surface of the film to stick to the top surface of the foam core. The edges of the top sheet are also adhesably attached to the sides of the core using a pair of heated side pressure rollers. Lastly, the cushion is inverted and a second, or bottom, sheet of dual melt film is placed on top of the foam core and attached to the bottom surface and sides in a similar manner. Finally, a valve, which may be either oral, or one way, is attached to the side of the mattress.Type: GrantFiled: November 8, 2000Date of Patent: December 17, 2002Inventor: Stanley Switlik
