  • Patent number: 6316118
Abstract: An fire-retardant vinyl chloride resin molding which satisfies the FM standard (evaluation criteria of fire-retardant property provided by Factory Mutual Research Corporation). The molding comprises from 5 to 50 parts by weight of titanium oxide and 100 parts by weight of a vinyl chloride resin.

  • Patent number: 6166669
Abstract: A noise-immune electronic circuit includes an input circuit for receiving an inbound signal through an input transmission line and comparing the inbound signal with a decision threshold to produce input data of the electronic circuit having one of predefined discrete levels depending on relative magnitudes of the inbound signal and the decision threshold and an output circuit for receiving output data of the electronic circuit and producing therefrom an outbound signal and forwarding the outbound signal onto an output transmission line. The input and output transmission lines are inductively coupled together so that a noise is introduced to the received inbound signal when a voltage transition occurs in the forwarded outbound signal.

  • Patent number: 6152605
Abstract: A ball bearing in which races are well prevented from flaking in early stages under an environment using lubricating oil having a high traction coefficient so that a long life of the ball bearing is attained, while the cost of the bearing is reduced. The ball bearing has a plurality of balls disposed between a fixed race and a rotating race, and the ball bearing is used under an environment using lubricating oil having a traction coefficient of 0.07 or more under the conditions that a slip factor is 5% and a temperature is 40.degree. C. At least the groove radius of the rotating race is set to be in a range of from 0.53 Dw to 0.58 Dw both inclusive when Dw designates the diameter of balls. In addition, the hardness of the race is set to be in a range of from HRC 58 to HRC 64 both inclusive.

  • Patent number: 6071829
Abstract: A method of fabricating a semiconductor component, the method including at least one step of etching an upper layer formed on a substrate. In the method, prior to forming the upper layer, at least one set made up of marker layers separated by intermediate layers of predetermined thicknesses is caused to be grown, where the marker layers and adjacent intermediate layers have different refractive indices, and then during etching of the upper layer refractive index discontinuities are detected optically and etching is stopped when the sequence of the optically detected discontinuities corresponds to a reference sequence representative of the thicknesses of the intermediate layers.

  • Patent number: 6058995
Abstract: A pneumatic radial tire capable of effectively controlling the occurrence of wandering phenomenon when being used in vehicles such as passenger car, small-size truck, truck, bus and the like is provided, in which a second tread zone contacting with a mountain side of a slant road surface is arranged so as to project toward a side of a first tread zone contacting with a flat road surface and camber thrust of the radial tire is increased by the second tread zone during the running on ruts and the like under loading.

  • Patent number: 5958043
Abstract: A multiple instruction parallel issue/execution management system including a forward map buffer for storing forward map information indicating whether or not the result value generated by execution of a given instruction is used an input operand in other instructions. The forward map buffer previously stores the forward map information for the result value, before the result value corresponding to the given instruction is actually generated, and when the result value corresponding to the given instruction is actually generated, the operands using the result value are specified by using the previously stored forward map information corresponding to the result value, and supplied to an instruction using the result value as an input operand.
