Abstract: Disclosed herein are card games which utilize a plurality of playing cards to explore geography, history and health. These card games are particularly used for educational purposes as it relates specifically to Oceans, Continents, Great Lakes, States and State Capitals, African American Inventors and Inventions, Truth Fact Match , and African Nations and Capitals and Wellness Match. These cards provide both graphic and pictorial expression of geographic and historical facts.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a roadside emergency vest that is convertible to a storage case. The roadside emergency vest also referred to as a passenger assistance roadside kit (PARK™) is a multifunctional safety product. The invention is a carrying case for storage of automobile emergency equipment supplies which converts into a highly visible safety vest. The breast panels and upper back panels of the vest may be conveniently stored in a storage compartment located on the inside of the back panel of the emergency vest. This invention is especially designed to help reduce the dangers involved with roadside emergencies.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an oral healthcare system having interchangeable, detachable, disposable heads. The heads include but are not limited to brushhead, mirror head and tongue cleaner head. The system will also accommodate specialized heads including but not limited to an interdental brush head, oversize brush head, implant brush head, gum brush head, denture brush head, gum stimuli head, and ortho brush head. The present invention has a unique head and handle assembly which provides a firm backbone support framework for the head.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a process for reducing the flammability of aramids by contacting a solvent swollen or never dried aramid with an aqueous solution of a tungsten compound, removing the solvent from, and then drying the aramid. The resulting aramids have superior Limiting Oxygen Indices, making them particularly useful where lower flammability is desired, as in firefighters' overcoats.

Abstract: Processes are provided for making polycarbodiimides with high carbodiimide contents from isocyanates, and for selectively making mixed aryl-tertiary carbodiimides from isocyanates. Also provided are carbodiimides containing alpha-methylstyryl groups, and polymers made therefrom. All of these polymers and compounds are useful in coatings, and for other applications.
Abstract: Polyvinyl alcohol esterified by lactic is produced by dissolving polyvinyl alcohol and lactic acid in water, and removing the water by volatilization at a temperature of 75.degree. C. to 175.degree. C. The lactic acid esterified polyvinyl alcohol is useful as a molding resin, and in films, fibers and adhesives.
Abstract: This invention relates to a liquid phase process for the preparation of R.sub.f CHXY by the homogeneous catalytic hydrodechlorination of R.sub.f CClXY wherein X and Y are independently H, F, Cl or R.sub.f ' provided X and Y are not both Cl, R.sub.f and R.sub.f ' are independently F, CF.sub.3, (CF.sub.2).sub.n Cl or (CF.sub.2).sub.n CF.sub.3, and n is 1-4, by reacting the R.sub.f CClXY with hydrogen while in solution with a Periodic Table Group 6-10 metal complex catalyst which contains tertiary Periodic Table Group 15 ligands without added base.
Abstract: A process for etching with a scanning tunneling microscope on both a single crystal and a thin film of high temperature superconductor is disclosed.
Abstract: This invention relates to a liquid phase process for the preparation of R.sub.f CHCl.sub.2 by the selective homogeneous catalytic hydrodechlorination of R.sub.f CCl.sub.3 wherein R.sub.f is F, CF.sub.3, (CF.sub.2).sub.n Cl or (CF.sub.2).sub.n CF.sub.3 by reacting the compound with hydrogen while in solution with a Periodic Table Group 8-10 metal complex catalyst which contains tertiary Periodic Table Group 15 ligands, without added base.
Abstract: A process for producing phosphonate esters containing the 2-(pyridyl)ethyl group by reacting a vinylpyridine with a di- or trihydrocarbylphosphite in the presence of a selected silane, protic acid, or Lewis acid is disclosed. Also disclosed are novel silylphosphonate esters containing the 2-(pyridyl)ethyl group. All of the compounds produced herein are useful as catalysts for increasing the molecular weight of polyamides.
