Abstract: A hermetic multi-barrier tamperproof package for encasing articles such as pharmaceutical products and the like, is disclosed. The package comprises: a first container typically being made of a substantially impervious plastic material into which the articles to be protected are placed prior to hermetically sealing the container so as to enclose the articles, and so as to further enclose normal atmosphere air within the container. A second container typically being made of a substantially impervious plastic material completely encloses the first container. The first and second containers are simultaneously separated from and connected to one another by attaching means comprising one or a number of discs having appertures in their centers, so as to allow a hermetic cavity defined between the first and second containers to extend continuously therebetween.
Abstract: A wing contained emergency descent system incorporates a plurality of bays positioned within the wing structure of an aircraft. Each bay opens upwardly and outwardly of the wing through the upper surface thereof and supports a tray positioned within the bay. The tray contains one or more parachute packs and is positioned to be elevatable through the actuation of a pair of doors. The doors form a part of the upper skin of the aircraft wing and each includes an operating arm depending therefrom. The operating arm engages the tray such that the arm elevates the tray, and parachute pack thereon, into the air stream flowing over the wing when the panel or doors are opened.
Abstract: A two piece molded fiberglass shower unit includes a square base having a vertical peripheral ridge extending along three sides of the base and a single piece shower wall section. The wall section includes a continuous groove for receiving the ridge. The ridge fits tightly into the receiving groove, preventing leakage of water through the junction between the base and the wall section and rigidly attaching the wall section to the base.
