Abstract: A unitary molded plastic blade support and metal blade is provided for an ice skate. The support includes an upper portion provided with heel and sole platforms to receive the heel and sole of a boot, and a runner portion embedding and anchoring a metal blade partially exposed. The blade has a central section and adjacent front and rear sections. A plurality of longitudinally spaced-apart anchoring projections are provided at least on the front and rear sections of the blade and integral with the blade. The keying projections extend inwardly towards the central section to form anchoring hooks engaged in the molded plastic.

Abstract: A suction power unit for a wet vacuum machine includes a dome-shaped housing closed off by a bottom wall with an inlet defined in the bottom wall and a centrifugal blower aligned with the inlet. A second wall is parallel to the bottom wall and spaced therefrom defining an exhaust chamber about the centrifugal blower and hermetically separating the motor on the centrifugal blower from the exhaust chamber. An inlet opening in the second wall and a third wall spaced from the second wall and parallel thereto define a chamber, and a second centrifugal blower is provided in the so-formed chamber between the second and third walls with the motor beyond the third wall hermetically sealed from the chamber formed between the second and third walls.

Abstract: A drafting aid comprising a flat board, the board having two straight parallel edges and guide surfaces at the parallel edges. A flexible member passes about the board and over the guide means. The flexible member includes resilient tension members extending between the end edges thereof to form a taut member about the board.
