Abstract: Elastomer film is extruded or coextruded against an engraved geometric micropattern roll which forms a geometric pattern of raised intersecting ridges or ribs on the film surface, and subsequently oriented in one or both directions to produce a heat-shrinkable, elastic film which retains its geometric micropattern embossment to an unexpectedly high degree, and which therefore has excellent non-blocking properties, reduced gloss and a satin appearance and feel.
