Abstract: The invention is directed to, in one embodiment, a waterfall apparatus having an at least one water supply inflow supplying water to the waterfall apparatus and a body member having the water flowing therethrough. A water accumulation portion of the body member can be coupled to and filled by a water supply inflow. An at least one baffle having an at least one tube member interspaced thereon and extends from the accumulation portion of the body member to an outlet portion of the body member. An outlet flow path is in communication with the outlet portion of the body member, passing the water from the outlet portion of the body member along the outlet flow path and through a waterfall outlet, forming a sheet like waterfall outflow. The at least one interspaced tube member, angled entry portion and optional deflection member work to deflect, slow and smooth the flow, reduce debris accumulation and generally improve the sheet like quality and consistency of the flow of the sheet-like waterfall.

Abstract: The instant invention is directed to a multiple battery system and network controlled multiple battery system. A main battery having a main positive output and a main negative output is also provided, together with an at least one auxiliary battery having an at least one auxiliary positive output and an at least one auxiliary negative output. A main electrical circuit having an at least one switching device is provided with at least two operating positions. The two operating positions selectively couple the main and at least one auxiliary battery to the common positive terminal. In the first of the at least two operating positions electrical charge is provided to both the main battery and the at least one auxiliary battery. A controller is also provided and coupled to the main electrical circuit and switches the at least one switching device based on input from an at least one sensor.

Abstract: A drive system with at least one power storage device and at least one motor intermittently energized and de-energized through coupling to the at least one power storage device. The drive having at least one weighted drive member coupled to the at least one motor. An at least one energy recovery device returns energy to the at least one power storage device when the motor is energized or when the motor is de-energized by intermittently engaging the at least one drive member. The system also comprises a drive unit coupled to said at least one weighted drive member such that the motor drives the at least one weighted drive member which in turn drives the drive train wherein when the at least one weighted drive member is disengaged from the drive train. The motor can remain in an energized state or become de-energized and energy recovery through the at last one energy recovery device can continue to return energy to the power storage device so long as the weighted drive member is driven.

Abstract: A container suitable for storing and transporting hazardous materials such as alkali wet cell batteries in an aviation environment includes a container body and a hinged lid made of cross linked polyethylene, latches, and a triple tongue-in-groove seal around the rim of the container opening. The triple tongue-in-groove seal includes two smaller tongue-in-groove seals with a larger tongue-in-groove seal disposed therebetween. The larger tongue-in-groove structure provides structural strength to help prevent the lid from skewing when the container suffers stress such as an impact at a corner, and also helps to guide the lid and base into proper alignment when the lid is being closed. The smaller tongue-in-groove seals provide double redundant sealing to help contain hazardous materials inside the container without making the rim of the container excessively wide.
