Abstract: A system for detecting individual cylinder misfire in a multiple cylinder internal combustion (IC) engine having exhaust gas recirculation (EGR). The system includes: a device for predicting EGR flow rate on a cylinder to cylinder basis; a device for sensing actual EGR flow rate on a cylinder to cylinder basis with all cylinders firing; and a device for comparing the predicted EGR flow rate to the actual EGR flow to determine individual cylinder misfire.

Abstract: A cartridge for an admixing arrangement of a manually operable arrangement for spraying a solvent, in particular water, into which an additive in the form of a liquid concentrate, such as a plant or crop protection agent, has been mixed, includes an outer cartridge housing; a pressure-sensitive inner container for accommodating the liquid concentrate; a mixing chamber, the mixing chamber having a device with a first outlet opening, for the concentrate or plant spray, an inlet opening, designed as a throttle, for the solvent or water, and a second outlet opening for the concentrate/solvent mixture.
Abstract: An agricultural machine includes a dispensing system configured to dispense an agricultural fluid; a pump fluidly coupled to the dispensing system; and an arrangement configured to provide the agricultural fluid to the dispensing system. The arrangement includes at least one first reservoir configured to store the agricultural fluid, the at least one first reservoir being fluidly coupled to the pump; a second reservoir configured to store the agricultural fluid, the second reservoir being fluidly coupled to the pump; and a throttling device in fluid communication with the second reservoir and the pump. The throttling device is configured to throttle a flow of the agricultural fluid from the second reservoir.
Abstract: A vehicle includes a power unit mechanically couplable with one or more primary loads, including a propulsion load. At least one electrical storage device has an electrical output which is couplable with at least one external load over a drive period of time. Each external load is distinct from the one or more primary loads. A generator is mechanically couplable with the power unit and electrically couplable with the at least one electrical storage device. The generator has an electrical charging output to the at least one electrical storage device. At least one electrical processing circuit is configured for selectively coupling the at least one electrical storage device with one or more external loads. The at least one electrical processing circuit is also configured for selectively coupling the generator with the at least one electrical storage device over a charging period of time.
