Abstract: A manually operated dog treat dispensing machine capable of dispensing dog treats one at a time. The dispenser consist of a rectangular housing with a hinged housing door and hinged capital that serves as a food supply reservoir which is gravity fed into a spring loaded spindle chamber mounted on an axel and hand crank. Treats exit the dispenser through a chute output consisting of a hinged chute lid, two side walls and a base block. A retaining plate mounted in the end of the chute lid and adjacent to the spindle chamber acts as a stop preventing dispensing of more than one dog treat at a time. The dispenser can also function using a magazine that is inserted inside the rectangular housing area once the rear interior wall is changed out to accommodate the depth of the magazine. Magazine stop tabs at the base of the magazines along with the retaining plate mounted on the chute lid prevent the dispenser from dispensing more than one dog treat at a time.
Abstract: A method for enzymatic condensation polymerization by combining a preselected quantity of an enzyme, a diol and/or a polyol, and a diacid in a reaction vessel; heating the reaction vessel containing the enzyme, the diol or polyol, and the diacid to a preselected temperature; and maintaining the reaction vessel containing the enzyme, the diol and/or polyol, and the diacid at the preselected temperature for a preselected time, thereby producing a condensation polymer.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing picture element groups by means of laser rays in space and on a plane. The laser ray, functioning as a picture ray, is divided into a main ray and one or more secondary rays. The secondary rays are transformed into groups of individual picture elements by adapted devices. In the pictorial representation of 3D images, secondary images arise consisting of an individual picture group made of individual picture elements.
Abstract: A method for determining the performance of a telecommunications system by first benchmarking the system performance, while locating any defective RF equipment at each channel and site tested, second taking specific information for the specified location or locations, then adding exact distances between the reference site and test point coordinates, and third measuring and recording the required data and comparing the data to determine which component or components, if any, are not performing up to acceptable levels.
Abstract: A vehicle having two primary wheels and two or more retractable wheels that may be operated in either two-wheeled or multi-wheeled configuration with a sliding panel system for open or complete enclosure, with both the wheelprint and the open/enclosed panel system being quickly and independently operated.
Abstract: Known drinking troughs with drinking valves (21), which are assigned to a water-supply line (20), and water-collecting bowls (24) assigned to said drinking valves are problematic when it comes to supplying young chicks automatically with water. Known drinking troughs have proven unsuitable for young turkey chicks. The invention proposes a drinking trough which is also suitable for young turkey chicks. This drinking trough is distinguished in that valve pins for opening the drinking valves (21) are assigned elongate, tubular actuating levers (25). The actuating levers (25) facilitate the opening of the drinking valves (21). Moreover, by way of the tubular actuating levers (25) extending into the water-collecting bowls (24), the water passing out of the drinking valves (21) is directed specifically into he water-collecting bowls (24), as a result of which splashing of water is avoided.

Abstract: A system for remotely tracking, monitoring and messaging vessels (14) utilizing a global positioning system satellite constellation, having a transceiver located on the vessel to be tracked and monitored, a monitoring center located remote from the vessel, a communications means allowing the bi-directional communication between the transceiver and the monitoring center, a communications means allowing the uni-directional communication from the global positioning system satellite constellation to the transceiver, sensors on the on-board systems of the vessel, a communications means allowing communication between the sensors and the transceiver, an input/output means for messaging, and a communications means allowing communication between the input/output means and the transceiver.
Abstract: A method for enzymatically synthesizing a polymer by combining a preselected quantity of an enzyme, a first reactant selected from polymers with at least one carboxylic acid pendant group, a second reactant selected from alcohols, i.e., polyols, in a reaction vessel; heating the reaction vessel to a preselected temperature; and maintaining the reaction vessel at the preselected temperature for a preselected time with mixing, wherein an esterification reaction results at at least one carboxylic acid pendant group of the polymer with one hydroxyl group from the polyol and results in a modified polymer.
Abstract: A multiple lumen catheter assembly having at least two catheters separate and independent from each other along at least a portion of their lengths, and that can be selectively joined together to change the separation distances between the catheters by of a connecting means.
Abstract: A method for preparing a superconducting heat transfer medium having three basic layers, the method having the steps of preparing a first layer mixture, applying the first layer mixture to a surface of a substrate so as to form a first layer, preparing a second layer mixture, applying the second layer mixture to the substrate over the first layer so as to form a second layer on top of the first layer, preparing a third layer powder, and exposing the second layer to the third layer powder so as to form a third layer on top of the second layer, thus forming the three layer superconducting heat transfer medium.

Abstract: In a method for characterizing a culture liquid, in particular in a bioreactor, by illuminating the cells (22) contained in the culture liquid the culture liquid is analyzed in situ, microscopic imaging of the cells (22) and by evaluating the image. The illumination is carried out as dark-field illumination, and the image evaluation comprises a comparison of the intensities of the light output by the interior of the cell and by the edge of the cell, by means of which comparison living and dead cells (22) are distinguished in order to determine the vitality of the culture liquid.
Abstract: Devices, systems and methods for mixing and stirring paints and the like having an axial shaft with a means for moving the liquid mounted on the axial shaft and a cage-like frame surrounding the means for moving the liquid and surrounding at least a portion of the axial shaft, and a combination device for mixing and stirring paints and the like and for holding a roller paint brush cover for cleaning.
Abstract: An apparatus having an enclosure, at least one circuit breaker and at least one plug receptacle, in particular on ships to supply containers with electrical energy, the circuit breaker being arranged in the enclosure and the plug receptacle preferably being arranged on the outside of the enclosure. An interlocking of the circuit breaker and the plug receptacle is designed such that the circuit breaker can only be switched on when the plug receptacle is occupied and at the same time, it is only possible to remove a plug from the plug receptacle when the circuit breaker is switched off.

Abstract: Multiple independent penetrating electrode non-electric tips in which the electrodes are separated in a non-coaxial arrangement so as to generate a spark gap internal to the non-electric shock tube, with the electrodes being brought together inside of the shock tube at a very precise distance, improving longevity by eliminating ablation of the insulating material between the inner and outer electrodes, reducing electrical shorting of the electrodes, and providing more consistent and reliable ignition of shock tubes.
