  • Patent number: 6014995
Abstract: An onsite petrochemical storage and transport system comprising a land based facility, which provides storage at a well site for hydrocarbon reservoir products which include gas, oil and water at a high pressure. The pressurized mixture is transferred, by means of pressure equalization, into a truck with multiple pressure containing vessels and transported to a plant suitable for processing the raw hydrocarbon mixture. The well site facility and transport truck are configured to allow for separation of gas and liquids to selectively transfer the gas or liquids as desired. Remote well sites may be periodically serviced by transport trucks while maintaining continuous production.

  • Patent number: 5986373
Abstract: A novel magnetic bearing assembly is disclosed where mutually repulsing magnetic fields are generated between an inner housing and an outer housing. In the preferred embodiment, these fields are located in pairs of cooperating rings, one set of rings having the generated field being axially aligned and the other set having a radial alignment. Thus, one section of the housing is suspended within the other without any contact.

  • Patent number: 5871188
Abstract: A two part bracket particularly suited for mounting a winch to a vertical environmental surface. One of the parts of the bracket is a base comprising a flat plate, with two bent edges, having chamfered screw holes for permanently mounting the base to a wall or other environmental surface. The base has three tabs projecting outwardly therefrom, thus forming a three sided pocket for receiving the second part. The second part includes a mounting flange cooperating with the three sided pocket, and a support plate projecting perpendicularly from the mounting flange. The support plate has a plurality of holes, some elongated, for receiving bolts or the like for fastening a winch to the bracket. The second part is manually removable from the base, and preferably remains with the winch to avoid inadvertent loss.

  • Patent number: 5733123
Abstract: A healing cap for an anchor of a dental implant anchor. The healing cap has a cylindrical head having an opening at the top side, and two legs projecting downwardly from the head. The opening at the top side has threads for receiving a threaded tool which will subsequently be employed to withdraw the healing cap from the anchor. The legs are separated by a gap enabling the legs to be urged toward one another when the healing cap is inserted into the anchor. The legs are of lesser diameter than that of the cylindrical head, so that the head can seal the opening of the anchor when the healing cap is fully inserted into the anchor. The legs resiliently resist compression from being forced into the opening of the anchor. This arrangement causes frictional engagement with the anchor which secures the healing cap to the anchor. The novel healing cap enables an anchor to be employed which lacks threads for engaging the healing cap, thereby reducing cost of fabricating the anchor.
