    Abstract: The present invention relates to a coating composition and a method for making same. The coating composition according to the invention can advantageously have a low content of volatile organic compounds and can be used in paint and architectural coatings applications for coating on an appropriate substrate. Methods of formulating the coating compositions according to the invention and methods for forming substrate-bound coatings with improved properties are also described herein.
