Abstract: A lid and lid drive mechanism for a portable, hand held device pivots a flat cover on the device in a predetermined controlled manner between a first position covering at least portion of the front of the device and a second position in which the cover extends towards the rear of the device. The drive mechanism comprises a spring/damper mechanism which pivots the cover of the device in a predetermined controlled manner between the first position and the second, thus forming a stand raising the top end of the device above a horizontal support surface upon which it rests. The top end of the device frame has left and right inwardly facing extension which enclose a first and second cylindrical hollow cavities. A coiled drive spring is located in one hollow cavity which a damping mechanism utilizing a damping drum and a viscous fluid is located in the second hollow cavity.

Abstract: A golf swing trainer comprises a shaft having a grip end and a head end, and a weighted filling inside the shaft. The weighted filling comprises lead shot, tungsten powder, and polyurethane resin to give the trainer the feel of a regular golf club.

Abstract: A hand held implement and a clip intended for use on a hand held implement with the clip including graphical or imprinted material on a removable piece. The clip further includes a base plate upon which the removable piece is placed in typical construction and use and a transparent cover which is fitted onto the base plate to create a unitized assembly in which the removable piece is sandwiched between the base plate and cover. The removable piece may thereafter be quickly and easily replaced or modified to change, revise or otherwise update the imprinted material viewed through the transparent cover of the clip.

Abstract: The invention is a recharger device having an efficiently designed base charging unit and at least one rechargeable handheld implement, which also serves as an advertising means. The base unit has two electrical prongs on the rear surface and at least one orifice on at least one outer surface of the base unit, each of which lies completely within the surface where it lies. The base unit is shaped and the electrical prongs are positioned and oriented such that when the recharging base is inserted into one socket of a common two socket electrical outlet, the second socket is not blocked by the base unit, thereby permitting both sockets to be fully utilized.

Abstract: The Skateboard Truck Mounting System is a mounting system for the attachment of a skateboard wheel truck to the deck of a skateboard. This system provides quick and easy adjustment to incrementally reposition a skateboard wheel truck assembly in a number of predetermined locations along the length of underside of the skateboard deck. This system may be utilized on new or existing decks to achieve personalized sizing and performance characteristics for a skateboard rider.
