Abstract: A display device includes a panel that is mountable to a vertical wall, and a leaf assembly comprised of a stack of like shaped leaves that are bundled together and connected to the panel, and a plurality of magnets that enable the leaves to be magnetically held in one or the other side of the panel but be manipulated by a user with one hand, in a flipping manner, thereby freeing the user's other hand to perform tasks related to use of the display device. The panel includes a slot through which rearward end portions of the leaves are passed and bundled by compression plates, thus leaving the connection arrangement hidden from view and aesthetically pleasing. In an arrangement, a frame is provided about the panel to guide and support, at least in part, the lower edges of the leaf assembly.

Abstract: The invention discloses a red phosphor powder which is based on strontium (Sr) aluminate and using europium (Eu) as exciting agent, and is characterized by that its chemical equivalence formula is (SrO)4(?Me+2O)1Al2O3: Eu, wherein Me+2=Mg and/or Ca and/or Ba. The present invention also discloses a manufacturing process for the red phosphor powder and a warm white light-emitting diode employing the phosphor powder. Moreover, the present invention also discloses a multi-layer polyethylene thin film using the red phosphor powder.

Abstract: The present invention, called a sludge rotary motor, pertains to an apparatus for generating power which generally comprises a wheel assembly including a wheel, an axle, a ring gear, and a plurality of paddles extending outwardly from the wheel. A housing is provided to deliver a liquid-based material from a storage tank to the paddles, and the housing includes an arcuate portion and an inlet portion. The arcuate portion is positioned around an arcuate segment of the wheel and includes a substantially tubular curved inner surface, and the paddles pass through the arcuate portion. A liquid-based material is stored in an elevated storage tank to increase the weight of the liquid and delivered to the arcuate portion of the housing, thereby forcing the paddles downward and rotating the wheel assembly, which in turn can be used to drive a generator.

Abstract: A stabbing basket, for a rig and for supporting a worker while stabbing joints of tubular members together during running operations, comprises a frame member for mounting the stabbing basket to the rig, a platform to support the worker, a carriage to slidably mount the platform to the frame member, vertical power means for moving the carriage vertically with respect to the frame member, an articulating boom, interconnecting the platform with the carriage, said articulating boom comprising a first segment and a second segment, and at least one pivoting actuator positioned between the first segment and the second segment.

Abstract: A snow plow towing hitch system removably attached to an existing vehicle hitch which is lightweight and compact to allow an individual to attach the snow plow towing hitch system to a vehicle hitch when needed and to remove and store it when not in use. The snow plow towing hitch system includes a connecting bar connected to a vehicle hitch, a vertical support bar attached to the connecting bar, a plow blade rotatably attached to the vertical support bar, and a spring attached to the vertical support bar and the plow blade to limit rotation of the plow blade. Another alternate embodiment of the snow plow towing hitch system comes in a kit form allowing the user to easily assemble the snow plow towing hitch for use and to disassemble for storage or to use portions as a snow shovel.

Abstract: A cover for a dental appliance, such as a toothbrush, includes an exterior sleeve or sheath and an expansible foraminous interior cup. The head of a toothbrush is removably nested within the interior cup. The exterior sheath is formed from a pliable material which may be twisted around the head of a toothbrush to isolate it from the ambient. A disinfectant is disposed within the interior cup either by impregnation thereof or by an additional layer and which is in contact with the bristles of the toothbrush head. The disinfectant is water soluble and is activated by contact with water. A dispenser may be utilized therewith which removably stows both a toothbrush and a plurality of the covers.

Abstract: A radial gap motor/generator has a thin annular array of magnets mounted for rotation to a stator in a radially spaced relation to at least one thin annular induction structure fixed to a stationary stator may be air or liquid cooled. Further, the motor has at least radial gap between a magnetic core and the array and may include multiple gaps and multiple annular induction structures to increase the overall power density of the system.

Abstract: A wastewater treatment system comprising one apparatus (1) for de-nitrification and effluent solids removal, another apparatus (2) for biological main treatment, and a further apparatus (3) for solids removal (5), each apparatus including a volume (40) in which each process is performed, a media-retaining sieve (6) at the volume (40) and arranged to retain buoyant media particles (4) in the volume (40), and a gas sparging device (8), (9) which is located in a lower end region of the volume (40) and which is controllable by way of valves (11) and (15). The three volumes (40) are substantially (10) identical to, or multiples of, each other, the three sieves (6) are substantially identical to each other, and the three sparging devices (8), (9) are substantially identical to each other. The gas is sparged into the main treatment bed at a lower flow rate for wastewater aeration but intermittently at a higher flow rate to disrupt and clean the bed.

The core is filled with a volume of a gas. A frequency generator is provided for resonating the gas at a high frequency, and means for securing the frequency generator to the core are provided as well. In addition, a pair of electrical conductors is connected to the core to conduct the flow of electricity away from the core.

Abstract: A ladder accessory or caddy that is connectible or removably mountable to the upper ends or rails of a ladder is adapted to position the ladder relative to a work structure and the ground and comprises an elongated rectangular shaped housing member and a resilient cushion member connected to the housing member. The housing has top and bottom walls, a pair of sidewalls, a forward and rearward end walls, and an interior wall. The walls cooperate to form a socket having an opening on the bottom, for receiving and closely fitting about the upper end portion of the ladder. The forward or cushioned end of the caddy is curvilinear and forms a “bull nose” for greater work surface contact area for stabilization. Also means for securing the caddy in position such as a biased latch may be provided to fix the caddy to the ladder while in use.

Furthermore, the present invention also discloses a warm-white Light-emitting diode employing the orange phosphor powder.
