Abstract: A dual use or two-way tool for lighting and extinguishing candles includes an arcuate tubular member having a candle snuffing portion terminating with a cone-shaped candle snuffing member for extinguishing the candle flame and an opposite candle lighting portion terminating with an integrally formed secondary jaw that cooperates with a primary jaw pivotally mounted to the tubular member and in alignment with the secondary jaw whereupon the jaws cooperate to hold a match for lighting the candlewick and for releasing the match for disposal after lighting, with the jaws actuated through a release and return spring, and the jaws including front and side apertures for receiving and holding therein the match so that the candlewick can be lit straight on and also at 90 degrees angles relative to the extension of the jaws thereby enabling the lighting of candlewicks for candles emplaced in deep candle holders.
Abstract: A guitar having a heart-shaped body with red plexiglass covering the body's top and bottom includes a fiberglass or oak neck attached to a bridge mounted to the body, with the neck including a fiberglass fret board having three extra frets for playing extra high notes with each transparent red fret marker having a LED light disposed underneath for lighting that fret marker and the fret board and a rod embedded within the neck and extending therethrough for connection to the bridge for conveying sounds through the guitar.
Abstract: A lift system for integration with the air suspension system of a truck for raising the rear of the truck so that the trailer can be attached and the landing gear let up includes an air dump valve, two air control switch valves, one one-way valve, one air gauge rated to 100 psi., one air regulator, an on/off control switch, a safety alarm buzzer, and the appropriate number and size of fittings and airlines. The on/off control switch is located within the cab of the truck and allows the operator to manually engage or disengage the lift system. The lift system is interconnected to and powered by the truck's main battery and main air supply whereupon engagement of the lift system facilitates the alignment and connection of the rear of the truck to the trailer and removes the weight from the truck's landing gear by raising the landing gear so that the landing gear can be let up.
Abstract: A multi sensor detection and disabling lock system includes detector cases for holding interchangeable detectors that sample for chemical, biological and radiological compounds, agents and elements, with each detector case disposed in or upon the monitored product whereupon light alarm indicators (color coded) on the detector case light up when a specific compound or agent is detected whereupon the detector case transmits detection information to a monitoring computer terminal and transmits a signal to a lock disabler engaged to the product to lock or disable the product's lock thereby preventing untrained, unauthorized and unequipped individual's from gaining access and entry to the product, and also preventing further contamination of the area. An authorized individual resets the detection system, and the system's power source is electrical, battery or computer generated.
Abstract: A liquid animal hoof conditioner for moisturizing, protecting and preventing animal hoofs, especially those of horses, from developing painful and debilitating cracks, such as quarter cracks and sand cracks, and for healing such cracks after they occur, includes whole leaf aloe vera, flax seed oil, turpentine, pine tar, and an emulsifier in a composition that can be easily brushed onto the horse's hoof without any inconvenience or discomfort to the horse so that the hoof can naturally heal over a period of time. The animal hoof conditioner can also be applied to the hoofs on a regular basis for hoof maintenance during the dry summer months.
Abstract: A tool for the installation, removal and tightening of endless tracks of a tracked vehicle includes a first tubular member that telescopically receives a second tubular member with a rotatable handle mounted to the first tubular member opposite the second tubular member and a threaded rod interconnected to the handle and axially extending within and through both tubular members for engagement to a threaded nut fixedly mounted within the bore of the second tubular member and the underside of each tubular member including a track bar hook that can be hooked on to the cross bars of successive track sections of the endless track with clockwise rotation of the handle causing the telescoping retraction of the second tubular member for decreasing the distance between successive track sections and for increasing tension on the endless tracks and counterclockwise rotation of the handle for relieving tension on the tracks in order to facilitate the desired maintenance on the endless tracks.
Abstract: A combination beach bag and beach mat for storing and transporting personal items for leisure, camping, travel, vacation, swimming pool and beach going excursions includes an upper storage section having an inner storage cavity for containing a towel and a beach mat therein, and the beach mat integrally attached to the storage section and easily drawn out and unfolded from the inner storage cavity for disposition on the ground or for covering various types of chairs, and both the storage section and the beach mat having integrally attached thereto accessory pouches or pockets that can be insulated for the storage of other items such as keys, wallets, reading material, and beverage containers. The beach mat and the accessory pouches are easily folded back into the inner storage cavity of the upper storage section whereupon the upper storage section functions as a beach bag for convenient transport by draping a carrying strap attached to the upper storage section over the individual's shoulder.
Abstract: Independently adjustable ladder extensions for use with folding, step, or extension ladders includes at least one pair of adjustable support legs slidably disposed within the channels of the side rails and having apertures that align with through holes on the side rails so that the support legs can be slidably adjusted within the channels and then locked in the desired position for stabilizing and leveling the ladder on an uneven surface. Locking pins insert into the through holes of the side rails and through the apertures of the support legs for locking the support legs in the position, and the locking pins include a flap member for holding the locking pins in position.
Abstract: A spinning insert for allowing the free rotation of a cutting tip (broadhead) relative to the rotation of an arrow is mounted to the tip end of the arrow and includes an insert having a flange that projects from the tip end of the arrow, a stepped and partially threaded cavity extending within the insert, a shaft axially projecting from the insert and concealed within the arrow, and a sleeve that is mounted to the shaft and abuts the interior annular surface of the arrow.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved applicator device for liquid and semi-liquid products. In particular, this invention relates to an improved applicator device for cosmetic products, such as mascara that eliminates the build-up and subsequent loss of product, resulting in reduced cost through use of a greater percentage of the product stored in the bottle. The improved applicator includes a handle, a shaft, and an applicator brush attached to the end of the shaft for insertion in a product container holding a liquid or semi-liquid product. Attached to the shaft is a sliding collar that is interconnected to a wiper. When the applicator is withdrawn from the product container, the collar is retracted, and this closes the wiper radially about the shaft of the applicator. Residue liquid remains on the inside wall of the container. When the applicator is partially inserted back into the container the collar is slidably moved downward on the shaft.
