Abstract: A golf club having an inertia capsule for supporting the strike face of the club, the inertia capsule having a novel air relief channel that is partially filled with mercury and inserted in a hollow club head to transmit ball impact to transition curves cast into the club face uniformly across the club face. A feature of the inertia capsule is that it is configured to be selectively, partially filled with mercury fluid for imparting controlled force against distribution curves cast in the club face. The inertia capsule is supported in the interior chamber by a pair of saddle members.
Abstract: Apparatus and systems for cooling heat sinks, integrated circuit boards, and electronic components by providing internal passageways in the heat sinks, circuit boards, and electronic components that connect to a fluid manifold. The internal passageways connect to the surface of the heat sinks, circuit boards and electronic components. A cooling fluid capable of phase change is supplied to the internal passageways to conductively cool the interior of the heat sink, circuit board, and component and to cool the surface of the heat sink, circuit board, and/or component at least partially by evaporative cooling. A plurality of circuit boards, components, and/or heat sinks may be placed back to back with the fluid manifold therebetween. The heat sinks, circuit boards, and/or components are in an enclosed space so that cooling fluid can be contained, condensed and recycled to the fluid manifold.
Abstract: A Medical Waste Segregation Apparatus and Method for segregating medical waste at the point of disposal within a medical facility in preparation for further segregated disposal outside the facility. The medical waste device is divided in half by a vertical plane extending through the mid point thereof and with color coding; i.e., one half red and one half neutral, for easy recognition by busy medical staff to deposit red medical waste in the red sector at the point of generation of such waste, whereby cost savings are available for recyclable general waste in the form of cost avoidance as well as seeking to eliminate commingling of general waste inadvertently with medical waste, to achieve decreased disposal cost and increased opportunity for cost avoidance.
Abstract: Apparatus for adjusting a tennis net of the kind that is supported by a cable or the like stretched between two supporting points, the apparatus comprising a tightening mechanism for adjusting the tension on the cable, and a tension indicator for sensing and giving an indication of the tension on the cable.
Abstract: An insulated air duct apparatus including insulated duct modules and associated insulated fitting apparatus for transferring a volume of fluid in a warm air heating and air conditioning installation without employing external insulation or structural support members, otherwise required to support and insulate duct apparatus including a plurality of lightweight duct modules in combination with take-off connectors for joining such modules, each duct module comprising duct walls joined by corner members wherein said duct walls and take-off connectors comprise rigid fibrous glass (RFGB) with reinforced facing having inherent structural strength such that each duct module is self supporting.
Abstract: An underground fluid exchange system for control of delivery of fertilization, irrigation and pesticides to and removal from a selected fully encapsulated the turf area of a playing field, including golf course green, having a selected soil profile including a combination turf and topsoil turf segment, a porous soil segment and an impervious soil segment wherein the fluid exchange system comprises a bi-flow porous conduit having uniform porosity that has a selectable exchange rate.

Abstract: A system of machined and welded pipe with no connectors or scarfed welds and method to provide a continuous section for pipe and pipe-like structures; displaying electron beam welding for constructing continuous pipe.
Abstract: A door closing device including closing means for urging a door between said first open position and second closed position having a cable mounted in a housing said cable wound about periphery of a reel regulating the speed of movement of said door between the open position and closed position; a reservoir for containing viscous fluid; and a buffer for retarding the speed of movement of said door comprising an impeller immersed in the viscous fluid for use as a brake; whereby the impeller reduces rotational speed of said reel, thus reducing closing speed of said door.
Abstract: A drill extender apparatus having: (1) an rotary drive coupler providing, on one end, threaded engagement to the drive of a conventional electric drill and a polygonal shaped driven tool receptor cavity and locking collet at the other end; and (2) a tool extender, having drive shaft at one end, and a polygonal shaped driven tool receptor cavity and locking collet at the other end for receiving a tool, such a tool would include one of a set of drill bits, each having an extender shaft having a notched polyhedron shaft having multiple positions for drilling/boring deep holes, having multiple grooves adapted to be received by the quick disconnect collet of the tool extender wherein the balls selectively engage a groove for engaging said polygonal shaft and the polygonal shaped shaft is locked in place by the action of the polygonal cavity of said collet.
Abstract: A display arrangement for sheet-type materials including a fastening system having a malleable metal hook set which supports an adhesive/magnetic sandwich for suspending a metal backing plate that magnetically retains an image affixed to a display sheet, wherein display sheets are applied onto conventional shutters of doors and windows by a metallic hanger strip having a bent end hook set for bending into engagement with the lower edges of a louver, an adhesive layer, a magnetic sheet adhered to the adhesive surface on both front and rear of the metallic sheet, a second metal sheet which attaches magnetically to the magnetic sheet; and a display sheet having a magnetic backing layer which attaches to the galvanized metal sheet.
