Abstract: A golf putter having visual indicia to correct for misalignment caused by eye predominance, the visual indicia being generally D-shaped with the back line linear portion parallel to the clubface and the arc portion facing forward toward the clubface, with a linear alignment line disposed within the arc and back line such that the alignment line is angled a slight amount away from perpendicular to the back line, such that the golfer falsely perceives the alignment line to be perpendicular to the clubface.

Abstract: A pallet composed of a removable plastic deck and a metal base, where the deck is joined to the base by mechanical interlocking, the deck having depending lugs which interlock with apertures in the upper surface of the base. Preferably, the lugs have sufficient depth and are correspondingly located to receive the legs of a superior pallet in a nesting manner.

Abstract: A baby bottle feeding apparatus and method for assisting the feeding of a nursing infant by a bottle attached to an elongated feeding tube with pacifier end. The apparatus and method can include a pivotable connector such as a ball and socket connected between an elongated tube and the pacifier that can be rotated to selected positions without pinching off the tube for allowing ease of use by the nursing infant. The apparatus and methods can include additional assists such as allowing the liquid contents of the bottle to become more easily moveable by gravity flow. One embodiment can have a stand that orients the bottle up to approximately ninety degrees which can include forty five degrees when positioning the bottle on a support surface. Another embodiment allows for an interior wall inside the bottle to have a sloped portion so that laying the bottle on its side in a horizontal position still allows gravity to assist moving liquid contents within the bottle to the feeding infant.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing jewelry pieces formed entirely or partially of a shape memory alloy provided with a pre-determined memory shape, where the shape memory characteristic and/or the superelastic characteristic of the alloy is used either in the construction of the piece or to facilitate repair of damaged pieces, since plastically deformed alloy shapes can be corrected by raising the alloy above the phase transition temperature, whereupon the piece resumes it memory shape.

Abstract: An improved truck bed toolbox lid and a method of producing the same. The truck bed toolbox lid includes an outer metallic sheet layer comprising a generally rectangular top sheet member, a longitudinal front edge member, two lateral edge members and a longitudinal rear edge member. A metallic liner sheet member is disposed inside the top sheet member in edge contact abutment with beveled inside edges of the front and rear longitudinal edge members and the lateral edge members to create an internal cavity in which the liner is by stitch welding. One or more injection ports are provided through the liner sheet member through which a self-expanding and self-curing, relatively high-density, foam is injected. The stitch welded edge contacts leave non-welded, gas permeable junctions along the wedged cavity periphery at a funneled apex of the edge contacted boundary which facilitate expansion of the foam toward the outermost edges of the cavity.

Abstract: A airborne electromagnetic induction (EMI) detection apparatus and system. In accordance with one embodiment, the EMI detection apparatus includes a transmitter element in the form of a transmitter coil that emits a primary, multi-frequency component magnetic field which induces a secondary magnetic field in an external body. A receiver element in the form of a receiver coil is mounted in a horizontal loop-loop orientation with respect to the transmitter coil and receives the secondary magnetic field. The detection apparatus further includes a magnetic shield disposed around the receiver coil to limit the lateral footprint diameter observed by the receiving element and to shield the receiver coil from the primary magnetic field and other external electromagnetic radiation to improve the gain and resolution of the detection apparatus.

Abstract: A system for automating the gathering of field information that describes the condition of specific geographical locations at specific times via a field information recording device having a GPS receiver for the recording and assignment of the space-time coordinates as information is gathered. The information and space-time coordinates are transmitted to a management center for processing over a communication network. Upon receipt, the field information is integrated into a geographic database such that the information generates a template showing the current state or condition of the identified geographical location on an automated basis. The template and the associated geographical portion of the geographical database are distributed to users via the Internet, intranet or other communication means.

Abstract: A device for delivering chemical solutions into a liquid flow, where the chemical solution is created by dissolving solid chemical contained within a chemical dispenser cartridge, the dispenser cartridge having an intake aperture located on the upper portion of its side wall and a dispensing aperture on its removable cap member, such that a saturated chemical solution is formed in the cartridge and passes into the liquid flow through the dispensing aperture due to the pressure differential of the liquid flowing through a tubular filter, the dispenser cartridge being mounted within the tubular filter.

Abstract: A water-driven blower ventilation adapter apparatus and method for using the same. The ventilation adapter of the present invention receives separately and expels in mixed combination the gas exhaust and water discharge from a water-driven blower. In accordance with a preferred embodiment, the ventilation adapter of the present invention includes a funnel shaped adapter body having a larger diameter port at the inlet side for receiving a gas exhaust from the water-driven blower and a smaller diameter port at the outlet side from which the gas exhaust is expelled. Furthermore, the ventilation adapter includes a water intake port disposed on the funnel shaped adapter body, which receives and passes water discharged from the water-driven blower into the smaller diameter outlet port of the funnel shaped adapter body such that the gas exhaust and water discharge are expelled in combination through the smaller diameter outlet port.

Abstract: A gravity-type sensor device comprising a switch which monitors the position of an object over a three dimensional pathway which extends dimensionally about all three orthogonal axes where the object may be tilted, rotated or inverted, as well as translated through space rather than maintained at a fixed location, so as to provide a signal to indicate that the object is moving in the correct three dimensional manner, whereby the switch is disposed within an external housing in a manner that allows the position of the switch to be altered relative to the housing, thereby allowing the angle or plane of the pathway to be adjusted when the housing is attached to different objects.

Abstract: A golf putter having a pair of parallel linear edge members disposed on its top surface separated by a top surface opening and a pair of parallel linear indicator members disposed on the upper surface of the sole and visible to the golfer through said top surface opening, whereby visual alignment of said linear edge members with said linear indicator members indicates to the golfer that the putter head is properly positioned and that the golfer's eyes are vertically disposed above target putting line.

Abstract: A macroencapsulation container having in combination an inner container member with an inner lid member and an inner body member, and an outer container member with an outer lid member and an outer body member, the inner container member being composed of a thermoplastic polymer material that can be thermo-welded or thermo-bonded to itself by melting. The outer container is composed of a metal. At least one electric resistance wire is embedded in or mounted onto the inner lid member along the area of contact with the inner body member, such that the inner lid member may be thermo-bonded to the inner body member to create an integral, one-piece inner container member encapsulating any material or containers disposed within.

Abstract: An adjustable curb guard filter apparatus for filtering liquid flowing into a curbside drain and method for deploying the same. In accordance with one embodiment, the adjustable curb guard filter apparatus includes a filter sheet disposed between an upper and a lower of a pair of support bar members. The curb guard filter apparatus is deployed onto the curbside drain such that the ends of each of the support bar members exert an outwardly directed pressure against the inner lateral surfaces of the curbside drain enabling the filter sheet to form a substantially complete seal thereon. In a preferred embodiment, the lower end of the filter sheet is wrapped in a scroll-like manner around the lower support bar member such that when installed onto the curbside drain, the wrapped lower support bar member simultaneously provides dam and liquid filtration functionality along the bottom edge of the curbside drain.

Abstract: A drive assembly for a dual coacting roller machine having a driven sprocket mounted onto a first roller shaft, a drive sprocket mounted onto a second roller shaft, and a pair of idler sprockets connected by a belt to the driven sprocket and drive sprocket, wherein one of the idler sprockets is mounted onto a mounting bracket connected to the driven sprocket, such that repositioning of the driven sprocket relative to the drive sprocket produces a corresponding repositioning of the mounting bracket and idler sprocket, such that the tension on the belt remains essentially the same.
