  • Patent number: 5529454
Abstract: An apparatus mountable to a transporting vehicle chassis for transporting another vehicle including a platform pivotally mounted to the chassis which includes a deck for carrying the vehicle, and a carriage located on and movable along the platform. A telescoping boom is connected to the carriage, and has a free end with a vehicle lift device, which engages the vehicle to be transported. • Patent number: 4472494
Abstract: Bilayer photosensitive imaging articles comprising a substrate coated with an image layer and a resist layer are disclosed. The substrate may be transparent, translucent or opaque to give imaging articles useful in different applications. The image layer which should be from about 0.3-3.0 microns in thickness includes an organic film-forming vehicle from the group of copolymers of the formula: ##STR1## where P is styrene, ethylene or methyl vinyl ether; m is 1-3; n is 1,10; X is OH, OHN.sub.2, ONH.sub.4, OR, ONH.sub.3 R, ONH.sub.2 R.sub.2, ONHR.sub.3, ONH.sub.3 RNH.sub.2, ONa, OK, OLi; R is an alkyl group in the range C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 optionally including a functional group such as ketone, alcohol, esther, ether alcohol or aryl; m=1-3, n=1-10; and the molecular weight is between 1,000-150,000. The image layer may also include a coloring medium. The resist layer, which should be from about 0.5 to about 2.

  • Patent number: 4127317
Abstract: Connectors, for printed circuit boards and the like, are disclosed which may be cut to desired lengths. The connectors are formed from bodies of insulating material such as thermoplastic polyester, having receptacles, or cavities, which support pluralities of contacts. Each contact is positioned in one of the receptacles by engagement of a ridge in the body with a corresponding slot in the contact. The contacts are locked in their respective receptacles by a slide element which functions cooperatively with a slide receptacle in the contact block. An assembled connector may be shortened by severing the body to remove portions of the body bearing undesired contacts without disturbing the remaining contacts. Alternatively, before assembly, the insulating block may be cut to a selected length so that it will accommodate a particular number of contacts and avoid excess contacts.
