Abstract: The present invention relates to a thin sandal made for reef and river walking utilizing a sponge-top layer directly fixed to a rubber sole as well as a single continuous adjustable elastic strap.
Abstract: A rotary cutter for cutting holes of various sizes in ceiling tile in connection with the installation of light fixtures. The cutter includes an enclosure which functions as a jig for receiving and accurately positioning tile members prior to the cutting operation. The lower portion of this enclosure functions as a waste receptacle following the cutting operation. A drive shaft turns a pair of arms bearing two cutter knives for rotation within the structure thus cutting holes in the ceiling tile. The cutting blades are biased upwards for returning to a non-cutting position upon completion of the cutting operation. The cutting knives are radially adjustable along the arm on which they are mounted. A conventional electric drill is mounted to the other end of the drive shaft for imparting rotary motion to the blade arm.
Abstract: The preferred embodiment of the invention disclosed herein relates to a display case for use in conjunction with headstones/monuments situated in a cemetery or other place of commemoration and an assembly for detachably mounting the display case to the upper portion of the headstone or monument. The display case extends above the top of the headstone and includes a front and back panel, two opposite side panels, a bottom panel and a sloped roof the joinder of which defines the display area. The interior of the case may contain one or more removable rigid shelves for display of the contents. The rear panel is hinged so as to operate as an access panel to the interior chamber and may contain a locking mechanism to protect the contents therein. The mounting assembly includes a series of front and rear face plates detachably mounted to the top portion of the headstone/monument by swivel bolts and firmly attached to the display case by threaded bolts.

Abstract: An improved animal trap in the shape of an expandable, collapsible, prismoidal box is made of cardboard and has a stiff square top and bottom and four side walls which are foldable to the outside along central folding lines by pressure onto the top. Each side wall has an inwardly extending tongue and at least two tongues on opposite side walls are connected by elastic bands or cntracting springs which pull the walls back from their folded position into a partially planar state as soon as the pressure on the top is released. The square tops are connected by a baited string which hold the trap in its partial planar state thus creating corner openings through which an animal may gain access to the trap interior and baited string. When the baited string is eaten, the contracting spring or rubber band pulls the walls to a fully planar position which now forms a closed prismoidal box thus trapping the animal inside.
Abstract: An improved tree protector of the type adapted to prevent insects from crawling up the trunk of a tree is described in which a continuous corrugated trough-like member is provided for extending about a tree trunk and for receiving an insecticide. The ends of said trough-like member are joined by an appropriate seal to form a continuous trough. An appropriate sealant mastic is provided to create a more secure seal in combination with adhesive tape.
Abstract: A paper dispensing apparatus includes a platform having a pair of wheels and a housing attached to the platform. A plurality of shafts extend upward from the platform to respectively support different widths of paper rolls. A handle may be attached to the housing to assist manipulation of the apparatus by an operator. Cutting blades are mounted in the housing adjacent the respective paper rolls and operate through vertical movement by means of a drawn cable. A shaft extends upward from the platform to support masking tape rolls at a position to overlap the side edge of the paper rolls. Adjustable retaining collars are provided to accommodate varying widths of paper rolls. Retaining springs are provided to apply tension to the paper rolls.
Abstract: The disclosure relates to an improved core for holding web material. The core includes a cylinder having an axis of rotation and an axially extending slot for receiving the web material, a rectangular collar within the cylinder to form an annular channel and an annular channel floor between the cylinder and the column to maintain a substantially concentric relation there between. The core also includes first, second and third tapered rib members for positioning the web material within the annular channel and a channeled wall member mounted on the rectangular collar opposite a tapered rib member; a post is included within the annular channel in combination with a fourth tapered rib member adjacent thereto.
Abstract: A dental floss applicator used for the removal of foreign substances lodged between the teeth as well as removal of plaque build up on all sides of a given tooth. The dental floss applicator comprises a solid rectangular shaped body fitted with a pair of adjacent end arms forming a yoke around which the floss is drawn so as to form an X-shaped pattern. A small button fastener on each side of the applicator body permit fastening of the floss after it has been stretched taut around the yoke.
Abstract: An improved electrically operated labelling machine is disclosed. The improved labelling machine comprises a frame for receiving and supporting a labelling gun adjacent its forward position. The mounting means is detachably connected to the frame for positioning the labelling gun. A solenoid is secured to the frame adjacent its rear portion. An arm mounted for horizontal reciprocal movement is connected to the solenoid and detachably linked to the gun trigger. Means are provided for energizing the solenoid for operation through a complete cycle including an advance stroke and a return stroke thereby actuating the labelling gun for accomplishing printing and cutting of labels.
