Abstract: A mail traying apparatus which trays or sweeps mail envelopes, which are positioned in a mail stacker bin, into a mail tray and to deliver the same to an outbound conveyor or cart. The apparatus includes a robot having a robot arm mounted thereon with the robot arm having a mail tray support at the tool end thereof. The robot moves the robot arm to a source of empty mail trays so that an empty mail tray may be positioned in the mail tray support. The robot then moves the empty tray to the discharge end of the mail stacker bin, sweeps the mail into the mail tray, and then moves the filled mail tray to an outbound conveyor or cart.

Abstract: A system for reimplanting avulsed teeth includes a dental splint having a pre-shaped channel that releasably engages a dental arcade having one or more avulsed teeth. The avulsed teeth are reinserted into their sockets and the dental splint is positioned over the dental arcade. The dental splint is worn continuously until reattachment is substantially attained. One embodiment provides masticatory surfaces to the dental splint that assist a user in eating while wearing the dental splint. Another embodiment provides a resilient layer to an engagement surface of the dental splint, which conforms to and engages the dental arcade. Adhesives may be disposed between the dental splint and the dental arcade when necessary.
Abstract: A system for storing and displaying pom pons is provided with a frame and a plurality of securement members positioned in a spaced-apart relationship with one another along opposite side portions of the frame. The securement members releasably secure the gripping portion of pom pons. A multi-segmented frame may be provided that allows the segments to move independently from one another. Spirit adornment may be provided to the frame as well as shaping the frame itself to exhibit such adornment. Various hanging and ground supports are provided for supporting the frames.
Abstract: A selectively fillable ballast water tank is secured to the main frame of the drive units of a self-propelled irrigation machine. The water tank is selectively filled with water from the water pipeline when the system is going to remain stationary for a period of time, thereby reducing the risk that the drive unit will overturn when experiencing a high wind situation. The ballast water tanks are drained when the system is going to be used to irrigate.
Abstract: An ambulation assistance device is provided with a leg support that releasably secures to an individual's leg and supports the leg in a positively flexed position. An elongated pylon extends downwardly from the leg support and may be hinged at the point of connection to simulate the mechanics of the individual's knee during ambulation. A resilient rearward brace may be used to bias the pylon toward a standing position. A forward brace may be provided to limit over extension of the pylon. A foot member may be pivotably coupled with the distal end of the pylon to simulate the mechanics of the individual's ankle during ambulation. A resilient brace may bias the foot member toward a standing position.
Abstract: An inflatable picnic table which includes an integrally formed pedestal, tabletop and bench, all of which are inflatable, so that the picnic table may be stored in a deflated condition, taken to a picnic area, and inflated to provide a temporary and portable picnic table including a tabletop and bench.
Abstract: A hand-held dispenser for precisely controlling the flow rate of water therethrough and for precisely controlling the metering of a liquid chemical into the water passing through the apparatus.
Abstract: A discharge conveyor for an elongated truck or trailer body which includes a plurality of relatively long conveyor belt sections having leadings ends which are bolted to support members which extend between a pair of spaced-apart chains. Each of the conveyor belt sections are secured to a plurality of the support members in such a manner so as to provide a freely movable flap at the trailing end thereof. When the conveyor is moving through its discharge section, the trailing end of the conveyor belts overlap the leading end of the trailing conveyor belt section. When the conveyor is moving through its return section, the flaps of the conveyor belt sections hang downwardly from the chains.
Abstract: A railroad switch machine which is normally operated by an electric motor but which may be manually operated without causing rotation of the power shaft of the electric motor to enable the switch machine to move the switch points without having to overcome the brake resistance applied to the power shaft by the brake and gearbox thereof.
