Abstract: A fluid handling device having a support frame and a plurality of filter frames attached thereto. Each of the filter frames has an outer frame member that removably secures a filter; the filters being either a planar filter, pocket filter, or multiple pocket filter. The various filters can be arranged to correlate the change-out schedule of all of the filters across the fluid flow area. The filters with the highest particulate capacity can be arranged to be in the zone of the fluid flow area with the highest particulate concentration. The filters are easily constructed from a single piece of filtration media and collapsible to save space when storing or shipping.
Abstract: An inverted T-shaped connection member is disclosed for securing the lower end of an upstanding wind turbine tower to a foundation with the tower comprising a plurality of longitudinally extending peripheral sections joined together with each of the peripheral sections being bent along a plurality of longitudinally extending break lines to define a plurality of angled wall sections extending between inwardly extending edge portions with the lower ends of the peripheral sections having bolt openings formed therein. Each of the inverted T-shaped connection members has a generally horizontally disposed base portion and a generally vertically disposed web portion. The base portions of the connection members are secured to the foundation by bolts or the like. The upper ends of the web portions have bolt openings formed therein with the same being secured to the lower end of the tower by means of splice plates.
Abstract: A side dump body including a plurality of side dump bodies pivotally mounted on a truck or trailer frame. Each of the side dump bodies may be individually pivotally moved from a transport position to a dumping position through the use of a single hydraulic cylinder whereby the contents of the dump body units may be dumped from the side of the truck or trailer. The design of the dump body is such that it has increased carrying capacity and is lightweight and less expensive to manufacture. Further, the end walls, side walls and bottom of each of the side dump bodies are secured together by an adhesive or glue rather than welding.
Abstract: A sod unrolling machine including a frame which is adapted to be secured to the rear end of a vehicle having a vertically movable hitch. The frame includes first and second horizontally spaced-apart and rearwardly extending frame members with each of the first and second frame members having a rearward end. A sod roll support is rotatably secured to the rearward ends of the first and second frame members and extends therebetween for supporting a sod roll thereon. A sod roll brake is movably secured to the frame and is movable between first and second positions. When the sod brake is in its first position, the brake is not in engagement with the sod roll. When the sod roll brake is in its second position, the sod roll brake engages the sod roll, to prevent the sod from unrolling from the sod roll.
Abstract: A filler assembly capable of filling unit-of-use medication containers or dispensers. In an embodiment, the filler assembly includes a generally trough-shaped top with a generally horizontal bottom including apertures surrounded by multiple sidewalls. Further, a body including a plurality of sides and ends is coupled to the top for transferring medication from the top to the medication dispenser. The plurality of sides includes a plurality of chutes covered by a transparent cover. Additionally, a base for supporting the filler assembly is included. The base bottom includes a plurality of apertures and positioners. The plurality of apertures extend through the base whereby each aperture aligns with one of the plurality of chutes. Moreover, a slide is coupled to at least one of the body and the base for controlling the dispensing of medication by a user.
Abstract: A lateral control rod for use in a vehicle cab suspension wherein the control rod has an attenuation assembly imposed therein between the ends thereof which reduces the transmission of vibration and shock therethrough.

Abstract: A dual mode A-frame outrigger for a boom truck or the like is provided wherein the outrigger may be operated in conventional fashion or which may be pinned to the side of the boom truck or the like so that the outrigger assembly may be used to stabilize or level the boom truck without being swung outwardly from the side of the vehicle as in typical A-frame outrigger assemblies.
Abstract: A load sensing system for maximizing the cleaning efficiency of particulate raw materials such as sand, gravel, rock, ores, etc., in a log washer by sensing the weight of the aggregate in the log washer tank and adjusting the angle of inclination of the tank for cleaning efficiency. The system includes a log washer tank pivoted at its lower end and supported by hydraulic cylinders at its upper end. A height sensor detects changes in the weight of the load and raises or lowers the upper end of the tank when low or high pressure limits are exceeded through solenoid activated hydraulic valves.
Abstract: A cover assembly for a medication dispenser including a container defining a plurality of open-top medication compartments adapted to be closed by a compartment cover assembly including a plurality of individual covers selectively connected together. Each cover includes an integral fracturable tab depending from one end and coacting means on the container for securing the tabs in a snap-fit relationship when the cover is positioned to close its respective compartments. Each tab is independently secured relative to the container and fractured from its respective cover in response to upward movement of the opposite end of the cover to open the compartment. In one embodiment, the tab has a plurality of spaced-apart openings formed therein to create a weakened area to facilitate the separation of the cover from the tab. In another embodiment, a pair of notches extend into the sides of the tab.
