    Abstract: A method and apparatus for training a user to move in a desired movement pattern, especially for training a golfer to swing a golf club. One or more sensors are placed adjacent the user, for example pressure sensors under the user's feet and/or between the user's hands and a golf club. The sensors generate signals corresponding to the user's movement. A comparator and signal generator are used to compare a function of the user signals and a reference value, and to generate training signals which are communicated to the user, e.g. by radio frequency signals received by a headset worn by the user. In this way, the user senses, during the actual movement, training signals which represent a relationship between the actual movement pattern and a desired movement pattern.

    Abstract: A number of arrangements for protecting an electrical circuit from an electrical overcurrent are disclosed. In the arrangements the base or gate of a switching transistor (4, 101, 161, 222, 401) is held in a voltage divider, one arm of which comprises a control transistor (6, 102, 162, 222, 404) whose base or gate is itself held in a voltage divider. When an overcurrent is experienced the control transistor switches on causing the switching transistor to turn off. The arrangement may include a shunt switching circuit to shunt the overcurrent across the load. It may include a resetting circuit that will attempt to reset the switching circuit after the overcurrent has been experienced. In one embodiment the arrangement includes means such as a battery, dc--dc voltage converter or Seebeck device in order to reduce or eliminate any initial voltage drop across the switching circuit.

The composition is particularly suitable for use as an insulating material on a substrate such as a resistive element in a conductive polymer heating cable. The composition has good physical properties, low creep, and low secondary crystallization, and exhibits little stress-cracking when exposed to elevated temperatures.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for machine reading of identification marks incised on semiconductor wafers. Preferred apparatus makes it possible to view the mark either as a dark image on a light background (which is in itself novel) or as a light image on a dark background. Using a television camera and an optical character reader, the viewing method can be changed automatically if a preset confidence level is not reached, and provides a signal if neither method (or the combination of the two methods) gives a satisfactory result. The method is particularly useful for successively reading the identification marks on a number of wafers stacked in a cassette. Preferred apparatus for such reading comprises a wafer support which can be pushed upwards from underneath the cassette so that the wafer to be identified rests on one ledge of the support and the adjacent wafer rests on another higher ledge on the support, thus exposing and precisely locating the identification mark on the first wafer.

At least one of the elongate members is helically wrapped around the core. Presence of the liquid at any point along the length of the sensor causes the first and second members to be electrically connected at that point, creating a system in which the potential drop down one of the members can be measured and the location of the connection determined.

The cable has decreased sensitivity to contamination and condensation than conventional cables which are covered by braids. First and second elongate conductors are positioned in first and second channels which partially surround the conductor and are part of first and second insulating support members; each channel has at least one shoulder which extends outwardly from the channel beyond the conductor. The channels are positioned so that when the cable is placed on a flat substrate in any position, neither the first nor the second conductor contacts the flat surface and at least one first shoulder and at least one second shoulder make intermittent contact with the flat surface. In a preferred embodiment, the first and second conductors follow a generally spiral path down the length of the cable.
