Abstract: This invention presents a sulphurous acid generator which employs a combination of novel blending, contact and mixing mechanisms which injects sulphur gases into aqueous solution or which maximize the efficiency and duration of contact between sulphur dioxide gas and water or aqueous solution to form sulphurous acid in an open nonpressurized system, without employing a countercurrent absorption tower. The present invention also incorporates a novel high temperature concrete for use in constructing portions of the present invention.
Abstract: The present invention comprises a method and device for deterring the freezing within a condenser by preventing critical pressure differentials from building up between the exhaust steam header and the air ejector systemy. The means for regulating pressure in the air ejector system prevents the pressure difference between the turbine exhaust and the air ejector system from being great enough to carry condensate through a condensing tube into an air ejector system.

Abstract: Systems and methods for hydraulically and volumetrically filling and dispensing target fluid. A hydraulic system comprises an actuator, a hydraulic coupler that includes substantially incompressible hydraulic liquid, and a target fluid container. The actuator includes a motor or driver, such as a step motor, linear actuator, servomotor, pneumatic motor, or other similar device, to selectively drive a piston of the hydraulic coupler. The coupler includes a conduit, column, shaft or other leak proof assembly that acts as a conduit for the substantially incompressible hydraulic liquid and includes a cord and a piston, which is selectively pushed by the incompressible hydraulic liquid, thereby driving a plunger to selectively press against a slidable wall of the target fluid container, causing the target fluid to be dispensed therefrom, or retract the plunger from the container, pulling the slidable wall therewith through the use of a vacuum selectively created between the plunger and the wall.
