    Abstract: A double walled pipe elbow with an intermediate space between an inner pipe and an outer pipe is formed by joining the ends of a straight inner pipe and a straight outer pipe. The two pipes are bent into a desired shape and then placed in a shaping recess in a shaping tool. Seal plugs are placed at the opposite ends of the pipe elbow. In the sealed condition, a pressurized medium is supplied through at least one end seal plug into the inner pipe and between the inner and the outer pipe for expanding the outer pipe into surface contact with the shaping recess.

It is desirable that a further machining measure be provided for the tap whereby favorable compromises can be obtained with respect to guidance and friction. This is achieved in that the relief 8 of the adjacent cutting-section 5 thread teeth--seen in a longitudinal direction--have a clearance angle which varies increasingly or decreasingly. Varying the relief enables the requirements with respect to avoiding incorrect tapping and avoiding friction-generated cold welding to be met and matched up in an improved manner.

The sealing member halves can be clamped to each other. Individually removable bearing shells are placed in the cable passage openings in order to adapt the openings to different cable diameters.
