  • Patent number: 5199345
Abstract: The piston compressor exhibits at least one piston (7) which is supported to be freefloating and connected via a piston rod (6) to a crosshead (5). The piston rod slides in a guide bearing (8) next to the crosshead in a gland (11) next to the cylinder. A ring (15) of porous material is arranged on the piston rod (6) between the guide bearing (8) and the gland (11). The ring (15) exhibits a circumferential groove which is intended for receiving a tubular spring and the depth of which--measured from the outside transversely to the longitudinal axis (6') of the piston rod--is at least as great as the outer diameter of one turn of the tubular spring.

  • Patent number: 5062536
Abstract: A hanger device includes a base and an upper support coupled together by two posts. A lower track is disposed on the base. The upper support has an upper track disposed in parallel to the lower track. A number of frames each has an upper portion slidably coupled to the upper track by two roller supports and has a lower portion slidably coupled to the lower track by two guides. A bar is laterally coupled to an upper portion of each frame. The frames are pivotally coupled together so that the frames move in concert along the tracks. • Patent number: 5036313
Abstract: An improved assembly design for a portable computer. A housing has a base member with a plurality of edge guides located along the side portions and a plurality of connector sockets arranged along the inner front portion. A matching circuit board has a plurality of forwardly extending plug margins which mate with the sockets when the board is fully installed in the edge guides. The board carries the main computer system electronic components and a rigid disk memory module. The keyboard assembly, floppy disk memory and power supply are all mounted to the under surface of the housing cover member, and the display panel is mounted to the top of the cover. The design enables quick assembly of the computer, and quick removal of the circuit board for repair.
