  • Patent number: 8176599
Abstract: A cinching and bundling tie consisting of a planar strap having multiple teeth along both edges that engage when the strap is tied around an object or objects. The tie is self engaging, re-usable, simple in design, effective in its performance, easy to use, quick to apply, and adjustable.

  • Patent number: 7835044
Abstract: A system and method for tetrahedral interpolation computations using data-level parallelism that takes advantage of data-level parallelism in media processors. If the tetrahedron points in a 3D lookup table are packed together in a memory, the interpolation computation can be implemented without extra instructions to unpack them. An algebraic manipulation of the interpolation equation allows computing the difference on the fraction coefficients instead of the tetrahedron node values. Not only will this technique preserve the full precision without over or underflow, but the packed data from the 3D lookup can be used directly, thereby allowing a faster implementation of the color space transformation overall and implementing as part of a direct-copy image path on a media processor. Such a system and method allows the implementation of the direct copy pipeline to function at the required performance rate as requested by a customer specification while obtaining the required product design speed.

  • Patent number: 7830541
Abstract: A method for providing a secure fax confirmation page from a facsimile capable device having a user interface includes receiving documents, in the form of a fax job, to be transmitted by the facsimile capable device. After receipt of a recipient's fax number, a determination is made as to whether secure fax confirmation has been selected from the user interface. A passcode is received prior to scanning of the documents. The interface displays a fax job list, which identifies whether a secure fax confirmation page is associated with individual fax jobs. Upon selection of a confirmation page by the operator, the facsimile capable device prints a secure fax confirmation page.

  • Patent number: 7631562
Abstract: A high mass-flow sensing apparatus and method of forming the same, comprising a flow tube bypassed in a flow path defined by a flow channel, through which a fluid flows. A flow sensor can be disposed in the flow tube for measuring a flow rate of the fluid in the flow channel. A set of narrow rectangular flow restrictors can be molded into the flow tube and adjacent to the flow sensor. Each flow restrictor can include several rectangular cutouts that are molded into upstream and/or downstream portions of the flow tube in order to limit the flow rate of the fluid across the flow sensor. The flow restrictors can laminarize the flow rate of the fluid in the flow tube and thereby reduce flow turbulence and lead to optimal sensing performance of the flow sensor.
