Abstract: A system and method for manufacturing an uncured concrete block using the dry-cast manufacturing process includes a mold box having a pair of side walls, a pair of side plates, an open top side and an open bottom side defining a mold cavity. One or more end liners are disposed within the mold cavity and are selectively shiftable within the mold cavity with hydraulic cylinders between a first position and a second position. The end liners can be provided with a three-dimensional textured face to impart a decorative face to a side surface of the concrete block formed in the mold or can also provide blocks with a tapered face when disposed in the second position while the mold is filled with concrete. Before the block is stripped from the mold, the end liners are returned to the first position, so that the side surfaces are not damaged as the block is released.
Abstract: An interactive method and system of testing an automated call telephonic communication system. The method and system includes a testing system configured to test an automated call telephonic and/or telecommunication network. The testing system includes a testing subsystem that conducts the telecommunication test and sends the test results to a monitoring subsystem of the testing system to process the test results and display them to the end user. An end user is able to monitor the testing of the telecommunication system in real time with an Internet-enabled end user station that is in secure communication with the testing system.

Abstract: An enclosed satellite antenna system can include a generally rigid enclosure defining a volume that is configured to enable both manual transportability of the satellite antenna system and automated operation of the satellite antenna system without a substantial change in the volume of the enclosure or manual repositioning of the satellite antenna system. The enclosure can have disposed therein a satellite dish, a feedhorn configured to collect incoming signals concentrated by the satellite dish, and a low noise block converter configured to receive incoming signals from the feedhorn, amplify and convert the incoming signals to received signals, and transmit the received signals to at least one receiver. A motorized elevation dravie system can be configured to selectively adjust an elevation of the satellite dish and a motorized azimuth drive system can be configured to selectively rotate the satellite dish.

Abstract: A method for positioning a dielectric dome covered satellite dish adapted to be connected to a satellite receiver, by inputting an elevation command into a control console corresponding to a geographic location of the satellite dish and then depressing a single key on the control console to activate an azimuth drive system on the satellite dish. The operator depresses any key on the console to stop azimuth rotation of the satellite dish upon viewing a satellite signal. The satellite signal is fine tuned by appropriately depressing the right arrow key, a left arrow key, an up arrow key, or a down arrow key to effect pointing of the satellite dish.
