Abstract: Systems and methods for the capture, analysis, and reporting of risky driver behavior are provided in combination with coaching of individual drivers to improve driver performance. The system comprises an event capture device that records both audio and video of an event. The event data, which includes the audio, video, and other related information, is provided to an evaluation server where it is then analyzed and scored and compiled with other event data. Event data can be compiled for individual drivers, groups of drivers, and the entire universe of drivers for an organization. The evaluation server provides managers, supervisors, and executives with access to reports including granular information about risky behavior and trends related to individual drivers, groups of drivers, or the entire universe of drivers for the organization.

Abstract: Cache usage optimization is disclosed. At runtime, a number of blocks of video data to be processed as a batch is determined based at least in part on a performance metric. A group of blocks that includes the determined number of blocks is processed as a batch.

Abstract: Preventing a resource leak is disclosed. An indication that an implementation object is no longer referenced by a user of the implementation object is received. The implementation object is prevented from becoming unavailable until after it is determined whether a resource associated with the implementation object is released.

Abstract: Storage of data segments is disclosed. For each segment, a similar segment to the segment is identified, wherein the similar segment is already managed by a cluster node. In the event the similar segment is identified, a reference to the similar segment and a delta between the similar segment and the segment are caused to be stored instead of the segment.

Abstract: A system for controlling a dynamic range of an analog to digital converter (ADC) signal is disclosed. The system includes an ADC configured to receive an ADC input signal and output ADC samples; an error computation block coupled to the output of the ADC and configured to compute an error based at least in part on a target and the ADC samples, wherein the target has a constraint that is indicative of a desired dynamic range of the ADC input signal; and an analog front end coupled to the input of the ADC, wherein the analog front end comprises a variable gain amplifier whose gain is adjusted based at least in part on the error.

Abstract: Managing categories in an electronic commerce system, includes obtaining transaction information pertaining to a set of back-end categories, the transaction information includes user information of users in the system who completed transactions in the set of back-end categories during a preset period, determining, based on the user information, a set of front-end categories that were selected by users in the system during the preset period, determining number of times a front-end category in the set of front-end categories was selected by the users in the system during the preset period, and adjusting the front-end category according to the transaction information and the number of times the front-end category was selected during the preset period.
