Abstract: The present invention relates to an electronic switching module that can directly be mounted without any modifications, instead of the electromagnetic DC relays used in various vehicles. The electronic switching module (15) consists of a plastic casing (1) protecting said module against the external environmental conditions, an aluminium block (2) preventing over-heating of the electronic circuit, a semiconductor switching element transistor (3), a printed circuit card (4) on which the electronic circuit elements are arranged, a cover (5) wherein said printed circuit card is placed and the contacts (6) to provide the connection to the power circuit.

Abstract: The present invention is a window system for convertible motor vehicles that incorporates the use of woven fabric made from vinyl coated polyester yarn in such a way that it (1) reduces the “greenhouse effect” that occurs when the soft-covering system is on the vehicle, whether the window is open or not (2) reduces the harmful unwanted effects the sun can have on the driver, the passengers and the interior of the passenger compartment, (3) reduces the airflow that occurs when the vehicle is driven with one or more flexible windows down, (4) makes it more difficult for a passerby to see into the passenger compartment, while still allowing an occupant to see the outside from inside the passenger compartment and (5) protects the flexible window from being scratched or otherwise damaged.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for amusement and gaming is described. The apparatus includes a board comprising horizontal and vertical disposed lines that enclose a plurality of playing areas, wherein the playing areas are arranged into an equal number (N) of rows and columns of at least 10, and each playing area in a row and column contains an indicia corresponding to a first through an N-th number to identify the playing area in each row and column wherein each row and column may not repeat an indicia, and a plurality of game pieces comprising a first side and a second side wherein the first side is distinguishable from the second side and comprising N sets of game pieces having on both the first side and the second side the same indicia corresponding to a first through N-th number. Abstract: A chiropractic adjusting instrument comprising a housing; a thrust nose piece and an impact head to contact a body; a preload switch plunger; a dampening spring; a solenoid having a core; a preload spring; a recoil spring; an electronic pulse system operatively connected to a power source to provide alternating current for energizing the solenoid to impart impulse energy from the core to the thrust nose piece which is reproducible and independent of the power source; and a trigger system for triggering the electronic pulse system comprising an switch activated by the preload switch plunger. Preferably, the chiropractic adjusting instrument includes one or more of the following: an intelligent universal AC power converter; optimized force-time waveform; pulse mode operation; and a suite of electromechanical components designed to promote reproducible dynamic force impulses and safe operation.

Abstract: A stern unit of marine craft that comprises a casing, a propeller, a propeller shaft, and at least one rudder actuated by hydraulic pistons is described. The casing is open at the bottom, with its bottom surface having a parabolic shape in cross-section. The casing has an inlet section near to the hull that diverges rearwardly toward an outlet section. The casing provides a housing to the shaft, the propeller, and the rudders, with a gap located above the trace line of the boat bottom where air is sucked above the water surface line such that an air film extends inside the casing along the bottom surface of the casing to an outlet of the casing. The air film reduces frictional resistance between the flowing water and the casing surface to enable additional thrust.
