Abstract: A method and system for sending and receiving binary bit stream in a composite video signal, such as a NTSC signal. The binary bit stream is modulated according to quadrature amplitude modulation, converted to analog and translated to an intermediate frequency relative to the composite video signal and the associated sync pulses, and combined with the composite video signal. At reception of a composite video signal that includes the modulated bit stream, the sync pulses of the composite video signal are determined by extracting the composite video signal from the modulated bit stream. Also, the modulated bit stream is extracted from the composite video signal, separated into its component parts based on the sync pulses, and combined into a binary bit stream.

Abstract: The present invention teaches a matrix addressed flat panel display device. A substrate is contained within a vacuum envelope with a translucent pane to allow viewing of the image. The substrate panel has one side covered with phosphor-coated anode pads, and the other side with driver circuitry for selectively activating individual conductive anode pads by electric connections using vias or similar electric connections through the substrate. An electron source such as thermionic filaments are disposed between the phosphor-coated anode pads and the translucent pane.
Abstract: A Flat Panel Display apparatus has a spacing component composed of a ceramic material which creates an accurately controllable and variable compressive strain on prescribed critical areas of the inner surface of the display panel and backplane which strengthens the assembly and permits the use of thiner and lighter materials.
Abstract: The present invention therefore comprises a chair for supporting a person during sexual activity. The chair comprises a seat having an opening in the middle to permit access to a seated person's genitals or anus. The chair also comprises a rigid support frame for supporting the seat, and a flexible support system connected to the seat and the rigid support frame for suspending the seat from the rigid support frame. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the flexible support system comprises a plurality of springs connected to the rigid support frame and the seat.In an alternative embodiment of the present invention, the chair comprises the seat and flexible support system, which connects to the seat and to an existing rigid support structure.
Abstract: A flat-panel, matrix-type visible light emissive display which has an electron source positioned at the back panel for providing a background of electrons. An electron gating grid having a number of conductive filaments is positioned before the front panel and exposed to the electron source. A display array with a number of parallel conductive phosphor stripes for generating visible radiation when bombarded with electrons is arranged between the electron gating grid and the front panel. The display has a control unit for applying an accelerating voltage V.sub.3 to the conductive phosphor stripes, and an arrangement for selectively applying a blocking voltage V.sub.2 and a gating voltage V.sub.1 to the conductive filaments, such that gating voltage V.sub.
