Abstract: A cold-cathode tube driving apparatus wherein the number of booster transformers has been reduced and the increase in installation space and in cost has been suppressed. This cold-cathode tube driving apparatus comprises a booster transformer (2); a plurality of cold-cathode tubes (3-1 to 3-N); and a time division control circuit (control circuit 6 and time division FETs 4-1 to 4-N) for lighting one or more of the plurality of cold-cathode tubes (3-1 to 3-N) in a time division manner by use of a high frequency voltage after boosted by the booster transformer (2).
Abstract: There are provided a magnetic element capable of enhancing magnetic permeability of a magnetic member, improving a direct current superposition characteristic, and improving production efficiency and a method of manufacturing the magnetic element. The magnetic element includes a coil (30) formed of a conductor having an insulating film, a first core member (20) constituted of insulative soft magnetic ferrite and covering the coil (30), and a second core member (50) having soft magnetic metal powder as material and surrounded by the first core member (20). Furthermore, the magnetic element includes a third core member (40) which has soft magnetic metal powder as material and a higher filling ratio of the soft magnetic metal powder than the second core member 50 and is surrounded by the first core member (20).
Abstract: A system which extracts motion data from a video image of an infant, and determines synchronism, symmetry, and/or coordination among the limbs. The system uses the synchronism, symmetry, and/or coordination results to determine whether the infant has a disease and/or what disease it may be. The system uses as an index for coordination one or more of: a movement start/stop order and acceleration of the markers; the trajectory, speed, or acceleration of a midpoint of a line connecting markers attached to various combinations of the arms and legs; and the trajectory, speed, and acceleration of a gravity center of a plane connecting three markers attached to various limbs.

Abstract: Each of connection data 11, . . . , or 15, of the downstream side of a socket 1, . . . , or 5 or a panel board 6, 7, or 8 in a power supply direction, is generated in a tap 16, a UPS 25 and 35, or a terminal 24 or 34, and each of the connection data is transmitted to a electrical system wiring diagram generating terminal 36. Then, a wiring diagram is generated, based on connecting information 91 of the upstream side, which is registered in the generating terminal 36, and the plural connection data of the downstream sides.
Abstract: In one of the present invention, a scanning control means and a generating means scan an image by part of light-emitting diodes among a plurality of light-emitting diodes, and generate two-dimensional residual image data enlarged from the image. A light-emission control means controls light emission of the plurality of light-emitting diodes by this enlarged two-dimensional residual image data.
Abstract: The cardiovascular evaluation apparatus of the present invention maintains a pulse wave detection means for detecting pulse wave generated while external pressure is applied to the artery, a pulse wave pattern formulation means for formulating a pulse wave amplitude pattern that indicates the dependency characteristic of the pulse wave amplitude in regard to said external pressure, a pattern shape matching means for matching general polyangular patterns to a pattern portion of said pulse wave amplitude pattern that includes at least a part of the envelope curve where the area of the general pattern, and an index derivation means for deriving a cardiovascular dynamics index related to arterial mechanical characteristics and/or cardiac function.
