    Abstract: Vertical translation of a self-converging deflection yoke relative to an in-line TV kinescope may be necessary to achieve satisfactory raster distortion. The vertical translation of the yoke may cause a residual convergence error. The residual convergence error may be eliminated by means of first and second permeable tabs mounted on the yoke and arranged for simultaneous vertical adjustment.
