  • Patent number: 7070523
Abstract: A pre-manufactured or pre-formed pocket. The pocket can be secured using cross lace pieces and either runners or throat tie downs can be attached to the frame. Generally, the runners are made of a top runner piece and a bottom runner piece that are stitched together. In between the top runner piece and the bottom runner piece there are placed any number of cross pieces and cross lace pieces. The cross pieces maintain the maximum distance between the runners. The cross lace pieces are used to tie to secure the pocket to the frame. Either throat ties or the runners are then used to secure the bottom portion of the pockets to the throat of the frame. The top runner piece and the bottom runner piece can be secured together in any way including stitching or adhesive. Another embodiment creates a pocket from one or more sheets of material. A die or knife is used to cut the material into the desired shape. In that way a piece of material can be cut into a mesh pocket.

  • Patent number: 7061740
Abstract: A system and method for protecting an output transistor in an audio amplifier output stage includes a protection circuit that protects the output transistor from excessive currents and voltages, and does not interfere with the normal operation of the output transistor. The protection circuit generates an estimate of the power dissipated by the output transistor, applies this estimate to an electrical analog of the thermal time constants of the transistor to obtain an estimate of the temperature differential between junction and case, compares this differential to a limit, which is a function of transistor case temperature.

  • Patent number: 7037207
Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing one golf ball at a time onto a tee, the apparatus includes: a frame supporting a collapsible funnel shaped hopper, a lifting housing, a lifting plunger assembly and a counterweighted tubular arm. The funnel shaped hopper has a wide upper mouth to receive a plurality of golf balls and a smaller lower exit port through which golf balls roll by gravity into lifting housing. The lifting housing receives one or more golf balls via a feed port and allows one golf ball to rest against a ball stop portion of the housing wall in a chambered position. A lifting plunger prevents the golf ball from falling further into the lifting housing. The counterweighted tubular arm is pivotably attached to the frame, the arm being biased by the counterweight to hold its dispensing mouth at an elevation higher than the lifting housing dispensing port.
