  • Patent number: 7255240
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed comprising a base and a container. The container typically includes a top portion and a bottom portion, wherein the top portion is hinged to the bottom portion. The container is fixed to the base so that the top portion can be rotated upwards to reveal a cavity in the container for storing objects. The container may include a lock which can be locked to prevent the cavity from being exposed. The base may have an open box structure with a chamber in which the container is placed.

  • Patent number: 7033028
Abstract: An improved image projection lighting device is disclosed. Commands received by a communications port of the base housing may be acted upon to change zoom and focus values of a zoom and focus lens. A cooling system may be provided which compares an input air temperature of the image projection lighting device to an exiting air temperature to determine if a filter needs service. A video projector may project a first image comprised of first, second, and third separate images and the first separate image can be faded up to project light that is void of an image by a first command received at the communications port.

  • Patent number: 6982529
Abstract: An apparatus is provided including an image projection lighting device. The image projection lighting device may be comprised of a base housing, a yoke, and a lamp housing. The lamp housing may be comprised of a lamp and a first light valve. The image projection lighting device may be further comprised of a communications port, a processing system, and a memory. A cutoff value representing an amount of accumulated operating time at which the lamp may begin to operate improperly may be stored in the memory. An accumulated value representing an actual accumulated amount of operating time of the lamp may also be stored in the memory. The processing system may prevent the lamp from operating when the accumulated value is within a limit of the cutoff value, unless the processing system grants a request for a variance.

  • Patent number: 6926527
Abstract: The present invention comprises a kit. The kit provides the ability to transfer a drawing to an object and to provide color and/or shading in the transferred drawing. A first sheet is provided having a first side and a second side, the first side including a drawing which is comprised of a plurality of regions. The kit also typically includes a second sheet comprised of a means for transferring a drawing. The kit further includes a tangible medium on which information indicative of the color or shading of the regions is fixed. The means for transferring a drawing is typically comprised of carbon. A instrument is preferably provided for rubbing over the first side of the first sheet to cause a portion of the drawing to transfer to the surface of an object. The first sheet and second sheets are preferably mural length.

  • Patent number: 6915188
Abstract: A signal is received from an off limits facility and it is determined from the signal whether an aircraft is within a distance of the off limits facility. The course and/or flight of the aircraft is changed if the aircraft is within the distance of the off limits facility. A signal is received from an airport and it is determined from the signal whether an aircraft will be allowed to take off from the airport. The aircraft is prevented from taking off if the signal from the airport indicates that the aircraft should be prevented from taking off. A signal is received from a satellite and it is determined from the signal whether an aircraft is within a distance of an off limits facility. The course and/or flight of the aircraft if the aircraft is changed if the aircraft is within the distance of the off limits facility.

  • Patent number: 6866402
Abstract: A multiparameter lighting fixture, which includes a locking system for pan and/or tilt, either of which may include a manual input device and an actuator. The locking systems for pan and tilt can be manually locked or unlocked by a technician using their respective manual input devices and automatically locked or unlocked by their respective actuators. A yoke of the multiparameter lighting fixture can be locked in more than one rotational position in relation to the base housing. In addition, the lamp housing of the multiparameter lighting fixture can be locked in more that one rotational position in relation to the yoke. The locking systems for pan or tilt can be automatically locked by an appropriate actuator in response to an electronic control system.

  • Patent number: 6783251
Abstract: A stage lighting apparatus includes a lamp and a first light valve, which cooperate to project a first image and a second image wherein the second image is created by applying a function to a plurality of pixels of the first image. The plurality of pixels of the first image may be arranged in a straight line. Applying the function to the plurality of pixels of the first image may cause first, second, third, and fourth sets of the plurality of pixels to deviate from the straight line in first, second, third, and fourth directions, respectively.
